COME VISIT OUR DOWNTOWN TORONTO, QUEEN ST. AIRBNB:)
I have experience in hospitality as well as with short term rentals and I love to travel myself. My hope is that some of that experience helps you enjoy your stay while in Toronto.
WELCOME TO TORONTO :)
MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE HOUSE: There is lots of private parking in the back of my house and you are welcome to use it if you have a car. It is private and parking there is safe. I have separated an apartment from the rest of the house upstairs which is rented out to 3 professionals whom I rarely rarely ever see or hear. They are Super quiet and are usually on the second level above me, which is likely why I don't hear them from below plus they each have full-time jobs. Though I am trying to make this AIRBNB comfortable for guests, I don't want to say it is the greatest place in the city. It's mostly the location which is ideal. There's nothing wrong with my house or anything but I don't want you to expect a masterpiece. I enjoy my place very much and the space is Comfy and Cozy as promised, and it will look like the photos.
FURTHER DETAILS: My Apartment can comfortably sleep
up to 6 people, but I have listed it with the option of booking it 3 different ways, so PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. This Listing is Option # 3.
OPTION # 3- You rent the single room with the Queen bed and lose access to the TV, couches, etc.. (Sorry they are in the other room with the back private entrance and your room would only be rented by itself. You still are allowed to use the other shared entrance at the front of the house which you would enter and make your way towards the back of the house and down the stairs to the room pictured, that has the Queen bed with red pillows, desk, dressers, privacy lock, etc...). To be clear you still get access to the same 4 piece bathroom (As pictured), and the kitchenette (Has a toaster oven, microwave, fridge, plates and cutlery etc...), a large bed that sleeps 2 comfortably, access to washer-dryer, iron, safe drinkable tap water, with free coffee and tea (As pictured). Oh and if my bikes are there (Nothing special) you can take them out riding (Not in winter), you can still use the patio in the back and you can still have a Fantastic Time !!!
OPTION # 1. Rent the entire apartment, which includes a private 4 piece bathroom (As pictured), a private kitchenette (Has a toaster oven, microwave, fridge, plates and cutlery, etc...), one long room with 2 single beds at either end, 2 couches (One is lazy-boy and folds right out), desk and office chair, TV (No cable television but has attached HDMI cable for streaming from a laptop), a private room with Queen bed that sleeps 2 comfortably, access to washer-dryer, iron, safe drinkable tap water, with free coffee and tea (As pictured), as well as a nice yellow yoga mat and your own private entrance from the back of the house (Which enters off a patio that's great in summer and has a small fire pit). Oh and if my bikes are there (Nothing special) you can take them out riding (Not in winter) or you can rent from the city bikes just around the corner. We also have various forms of car rentals around the area, coffee shops including the famous Tim Hortons Canadian franchise coffee, fast foods, pharmacy, local free and brand new - gym, weights, running track, swimming pool, hot tub, ping pong, new amazing football/soccer field and hockey rink, etc... at the recreation center 1-2 blocks away and all are FREE to use.
*** I want to be Clear- In the listing I mentioned that there is a Gym, Hot Tub and Pool because some people may be searching for these things and I have them immediately in the area free, brand new, clean and I use them often. Take advantage of the nice Toronto facilities. They are available and I have provided the address of them. Super close and again I hope I did not confuse anyone.
OPTION # 2- The room with the private entrance from the back of the house can be rented privately and separated from the other room with the Queen bed. You still get access to the washroom and kitchenette but there is no guarantee that someone will not rent out the other room separately which is option 3. You will still have your private room and it is my feeling that when someone rents one part of the apartment or the other, it will end up being all to yourselves, unless you're renting for an extended period or something. To be clear you still get to use the same 4 piece bathroom (As pictured and there will be towels and soaps if you forgot to bring yours), a kitchenette (Has a toaster oven, microwave, fridge, plates and cutlery etc...), one long room with 2 single beds, couches (One is a lazy-boy and folds right out, desk & office chair, TV (No cable television but has attached HDMI cable for streaming from a laptop), access to washer-dryer, iron, safe drinkable tap water, with free coffee and tea (As pictured), as well as a nice yellow yoga mat and your own private entrance from the back of the house (which enters off a patio that is great in summer and has a small fire pit). Oh and if my bikes are there (Nothing special) you can take them out riding in summer only while you stay.
I am located right downtown on a small street with only 4 houses. It is just off queen street, where Queen street east meets King east street east. It is just 3 blocks from the Historic Distillery District, which is a must see if you have not been yet. It's likely the oldest part of Toronto and one of the Oldest parts of Canada. I walk there often on my way to the St. Lawrence Market, which is another must see. I am also close to the Eaton Center, which is our largest and busiest mall. It is beside many other attractions which include City Hall and Dundas Square. In the summer it's great to bike ride to the harbour front, the beaches (both real and fake), the CN tower, the Skydome, the CNE, the Toronto Islands and much more. I am right beside one of the main bike trails which go in all four directions from the house.
As I am writing this I am realizing for the first time that my home is actually located close to all the best parts of Toronto except the trendy queen west area, which is worth a visit if you like nightlife, or queen west clothes shopping (take one queen street streetcar and try the transit on the way). I have lived here my whole life and I guess I take it for granted ;)
Other things to note
BTW: There is FREE WIFI everywhere at the house and it's unlimited high speed Internet from Bell Canada. TOURIST MAPS are on the table in the hallway (help yourself but please return them), local phone book are there, just take a look around and make yourself at home. My place is not the best apartment, it is not huge or full of beautiful furniture but to me it is just a regular apartment in a good location, that's workable and comes with all you need, including a hot shower and bath and getting quickly from A to B. All in total you should enjoy your stay and I hope you do. Thank you for reading my addy and I hope I have inspired you to have a Fantastic Time in Toronto and provided you with helpful information. Read all my photos as well for even more Tourist Information, even if you rent another unit instead ;) Enjoy all that Toronto has to offer and smile :))
