It's a nice condo where you can see the ocean from the patio, and the Papohaku beach nearby is highly recommended (for taking a walk, but not for swimming, given the huge waves there).

Tom's place was just perfect for us. We work in music industry (performing, teaching and sound), so we carefully chose Tom's place because we read that people emphasized "quiet" in the review. We had fantastic quiet and meditative time at Tom's condo. We brought a lot of dry food because we didn't want to rent a car. The Seattle's traffic has been terrible, so we just wanted to stay there for 5 days! We brought a lot of noodles, instant rice, tuna can and etc. As we arrived to Molokai, we took a taxi to "Molokai Mini Mart" (about 15-20min from the airpot) to get alcohol, frozen stuff, juice, soy milk, eggs, cheese, and etc. No veggies or meat available when we went there. As we settled at Tom's condo, we visited a store named "A Touch of Molokai" that is located right next to the pool. We bought soda, pasta, some onions, and gifts. (they have pretty much everything that you need) We cooked for the entire 5 days without problems as Tom's kitchen is fully equipped. We brought a camping canopy for the beach use. We put sand in plastic bags, tied corner ropes to secure the corners. It gets windy there. There are no beach umbrellas available at the site. There are pool-side beds and chairs that you use around the pool. There is no shade on the beach and it gets very hot. Wild seals were so cute:) Wifi was spotty, but it was fine with us. When signal was strong, we updated a lot photos and videos on social media. The sunset is something that we have never seen. A local came by and played ukulele with singing... it was absolutely lovely. We will definitely go back soon! We can't wait.

If you are looking for a comfortable place to spend a few days relaxing away from crowds of people this is a great place. Molokai is a very quiet island but there are interesting places to see and go but you do need a car. It is a comfortable unit set in lovely grounds with ocean views and a great pool where you can cool off. The sea is only 5 minutes walk from your door.

best value on Molokai, cool, quiet, peaceful. I do recommend staying here again. When we come back to west Molokai, this is the spot.

This is a very good value considering that when you wake up and open your eyes you are looking at the ocean. The only sound at night is the wind in the Palm trees. Kitchen is well equipped, good towels and linens, wonderful lanai.

Great service from Tom, the place is very nicely decorated and clean. It's really quiet over in Maunaloa and we pretty much had the beach to ourselves every day.

A wonderful location, view and studio for a relaxing time on Molokai. Our host was so helpful and was such a pleasure to work with. We wish we could have stayed longer! It's also the perfect location if you are diving while on the island.
