My niece and I stayed just one night at the Blue Heron but wish it could've been longer! The room was charming, spacious, clean, a private deck facing the water, your own heater in the room, very comfortable bed, light and bright and happy space. We met Kate on the way in and she was lovely. Would definitely recommend staying here and exploring orcas island!

We had a fantastic time as guests of Kate and Abe. Their place is beautiful, welcoming and in a gorgeous setting. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we loved having a balcony overlooking the harbor. This is a gem and we would love to return.

This place is so perfect! Worth every penny, seriously! It's so pretty, we didn't want to leave. We spent several hours on the balcony just admiring the view, and mind you, we normally never spend time in our hotel/bnb other than sleeping there. Kate is really friendly, she made us awesome healthy breakfast and gave some dinner recommendations too. Our room was big, clean, cute - just perfect. If we ever go back to Orcas- we know where we will stay:)

Abe & Kate were great hosts, the room as very clean and comfortable. Great patio to enjoy the view from the room (we were in the pelican room) and enjoy a glass of wine once the kids were asleep. Breakfast was very good and tasty as well. We would definitely go back again & our kids were asking to go back each day of our trip.

Abe and Kate were wonderful and helped us in every way. Their inn is in a great location, and the view of the harbor and mountains was wonderful. We can't say enough good about our experience !

Thus was a very nice place on the harbor. There is a nice restaurant nearby and it's 10 minutes to Eastsound village where there are shops, restaurants and churches. Abe and Kate are great hosts.

Abraham, Kate and Jonah Clark currently reside on Orcas Island. They are attached to exploration and nonconformity. Over the years this has left them with stories of: young love, living aboard sailboats, a solo run across America, yurt living, one surprise bundle and a move west from Wisconsin. In January 2017 we took over operations of the Blue Heron B&B on Orcas Island. After stumbling across this magical place on a sailing trip, we simply never left. We plan to raise our two boys on the Island and host many happy travelers for years to come.
