Hi there

Thanks for your booking, you will love Alderling it is just the most perfect place to relax and in my opinion gorgeous in any season! If you require any shopping, logs or bits etc please drop me a list a week before hand. The lane to the cottage is single track and quite bumpy, it is suitable for most vehicles (unless you have a very low sports car?). However if you wish me to collect you from the top of the lane so you can see for yourself before driving down (it's approx half a mile) I'd be more than happy to.

Any further questions drop me a line . .

***May I remind you again there are two deep ponds in the garden and children must be supervised at all times.

I'm happy for you to smoke outside the cottage bins provided.

Nina :)

This a fantastic cottage, set in a beautiful landscape. The cottage is a beautiful retreat venue if you want to enjoy some peace and quite with beautiful views. Nina is a fantastic host and was really helpful and stayed in contact with me from the time I made the booking. The cottage is quite a long way down a track/lane. Take it slowly and you’ll be ok!

Nina's place is a little gem on the edge of the peak. Nina was a perfect host, from her help upon arrival to her offer of a lift to the pub! The house is a really lovely space, clean, cozy and idea for old friends to reunite and catch up - the ice tray in the fridge is a bonus, as is the bath! I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

This is a real gem. The location is beautiful, with some lovely walks right on the doorstep. The cottage itself is perfectly laid out for spending time with friends/ family, with an open-plan kitchen/ lounge/ conservatory-dining space. It is decorated beautifully and has a real quality feel. Nina was an excellent host and we had a very relaxing short break.
