This little cabin in at a beautiful location. We found it to be very clean upon arrival and the host very immediately responsive to any questions we might have had during our stay. Thank you for renting out this gem!

This was a great cabin! Near the water and secluded yet close enough to Rome for an easy trek into town. My boys enjoyed the fishing gear which was included and we had a great time looking at the Milky Way. Cabin was clean and well appointed and had a cozy feel. Would definitely stay again!

Cabin is really cute on a pond surrounded by trees and lake out back. The back porch was our place to be at night surrounded by the chirps and clicks of bugs and frogs. We even laid a blanket down in deck and star gazed at night. Sunset on the dock is really something to see in summer. Sleeping arrangement is a loft. If you have any problems climbing a ladder or have a fear of heights this could prove a problem. It freaked me out a little climbing down the ladder every morning. Host provided coffee, filters and tea plus spices in kitchen which was nice. Lots of dishes and such. Also, it clearly states that the "hot tub" is inside but because it says hot tub on site I assumed it meant a real hot tub. Nope it's just a jaccuzi bath tub. This was disappointing as I was hoping for a soak at night after hiking. That is the only thing that I really missed at this place. As stated there isn't any cable tv. There was an antenna that picked up 3 PBS channels. We weren't there to watch tv so this didn't bother us, but if you are glued to it, you're gonna need to find a hobby :) it was a perfect place to get a way for a few days to recoup and defuse. We enjoyed it. Thanks John and Janie
