Dubbed as "The Greenhouse," this unique loft amidst Toronto's hip Bloordale Village is the perfect place to call your [temporary] home. At 950 square feet of bright, airy goodness and 11' ceilings, this 1 bedroom + den has two bathrooms and is laid out over two delightful floors. Seconds to Bloor St W and steps away from the Bloor & Lansdowne subway stop, the UP station, and sandwiched between three smokin’ hot ‘hoods: Bloordale, Brockton Village, and Junction Triangle.

The space
This is a very special place. With windows facing south there is an abundance of natural light that pours in during the day, making it a dreamy haven for both plants and people.

On the upper level, you'll find an open floor of living room (with sofa for someone to sleep on), dining area, kitchen, and half bathroom (no shower). Cook a meal, throw a movie on Netflix, or bask in the midday sunshine -- it's your stay :)

Downstairs is all about relaxation with a "listening lounge," single bed in the reading nook, hammock, cozy bedroom (with queen bed), and full bathroom with shower and bathtub.

There is also a private outdoor patio with BBQ, lawn chairs, and (of course) flowers during the warm months. This is not set up during winter months because... who wants to stay outside in the frigid Canadian cold?!

Where you’ll be

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Sandwiched between Toronto's hippest neighborhoods: Bloordale, Brockton Village, Junction Triangle and Roncasevalles.

You'll find an abundance of restaurants and coffee shops within 5 minutes of stepping out the front door. To name a few: Sugo's, Baddies, Propeller, Seoul Shakers, Burdock Brewery, The Drake Commissary, Henderson's Brewery, Noble Coffee, GasLight, The 47, Bar Neon, 3 Speed. And don't forget to check out the local gems like Chico's Pizza, Jerk Queen, and Dosa Mahal (temporarily closed) that have been in the neighborhood before the hipsters like me moved in. If you are here in the summer, make sure to check out the Open Roof Festival where you'll find outdoor movie screenings and live music.

If you are an art lover, you need to check out some of the galleries that are all within 5-10 mins walking distance: Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), The Daniel Faria Gallery, Gallery TPW.

Lastly, I can't NOT suggest checking out all of the thrift stores in the neighborhood. Bloordale LOVES a good vintage find, and the number of thrift stores within a 2-block radius is proof. You can roll up your sleeves for a legit thrifting experience at Value Village (all clothing is donated), or check out the trendier spots like 96 Tears Vintage, Uncle Vintage, Odd Finds General Store, or Final Touch.

Ok ok one more thing for the fitness and yoga enthusiasts. Nearby you will find Mosaic Yoga, United Boxing, Union Yoga + Wellness, Misfit Yoga Studio, Fuel Training, and Fit District. The Rail Path and High Park are also close by which are great spots for running/walking and taking in some scenery.
