The space

##### NOTE #####
Even though the room has a bunk bed for two occupants, if you book the room for one guest, you will have exclusive use of this entire room, without sharing with another guest.
##############

When designing this space, I travelled back and fro between my two roles: Airbnb host and Airbnb guest. I asked myself: as a frequent Airbnb guest, what do I value most if I can only name two things? My answer is, resoundingly, a Clean space and a Comfortable bed.

With this vision, I allocated 70% of the room refurnishing budget to mattress and bedding. After a long day, it's time for you to pamper yourself with this Select Luxury 10-inch AirFlow Foam mattress and star hotel bedlinen. I feel thrilled whenever my guests tell me how much they enjoyed the comfortable bed and the professionally cleaned and ironed bedlinen.

My metaphorical mysophobia also drove me to a higher standard of cleanness. I go extra miles to have two on-site cleaners to take care of the eight-guest-room house. Again, nothing makes me feel better than hearing guests say "This room is freaking clean," or "This is the cleanest Airbnb room I've ever stayed in." If you have a habit of sleeping naked, feel assured to do so because "cleanness" is guaranteed. Thanks go to Ping and her husband, who conscientiously maintain the standard of "cleanness" of this Airbnb home.

There are 8 guest rooms in this 2-storey house with 1 restroom on each level and 1 eat-in kitchen in the basement.

Basic self-service breakfast include bread, cereal and instant noodle. You are welcome to use the kitchen appliances and cookware.

Guest access

As guest, you have full access to all the common areas of this building.

Interaction with guests

Because I am traveling most of the time, I appreciate it if you can help yourself check in and check out. This being said, I will be always available to answer questions and provide assistance via Airbnb messaging or phone call. If there is an emergency, call me or go to the basement unit and knock on the door.

I had a very comfortable stay at Yueyang's place in Cambridge. The room was clean and comfortable, and Yueyang was very helpful with the instructions provided prior to my arrival. The location is also great and the place is walking distance to MIT and some fantastic restaurants in the Cambridge area!

Very nice and comfortable accommodation. This is in a very and safe nice neighbourhood yet not far from the sites. The area was quiet but if you're a light sleeper than you may be woken occasionally by guests using a keypad to enter one of the other rooms on your floor. But that didn't bother us much. Overall a great place and great value.

This place is awesome! I love the blanket they provided me with, so confi and warm for Boston's weather. Mr Yu is an awesome guy, he constantly provided us with traveling tips and everything else we need. The check in and check out system is so convenient. The grape vines growing on the house were delicious! would recommend them to everyone staying around Harvard, MIT area!

Everything as described. Hosts were really responsive when I had a slight issue with the door code and very proactive reaching out afterwards. Also obviously lots of care and thought put into the house with the very clear signs and instructions throughout.

A clean and functional room to stay in, an easy 15 minute walk from the nearest metro station (or a quick Uber from the city center). The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom super clean - breakfast was nice too. Would stay again!

This is a very convent room, and great value for the price. If you're expecting anything other than a small room you need to reconsider. If you'd like a great value in a great place, this is it.
