Other things to note
In my accommodation one has to pay touristtax to the council of Maastricht. It is not included in the Airbnb-price. In 2016 it is 1,89 euro per person per night. You can pay this cash when you arrive.
What is there to say? I would like guests to feel at home and to behave like that, but I never had to explain that!
You cannot smoke in the whole building, but you can smoke on the balcony, and you can also sit on the bench in the little frontgarden if you want. Cats and dogs are welcome, but I would like to know on forhand if you take one with you. It costs 7,50 euro on the totalprice.
I live in the apartment on the second floor. The guests and I use the same frontdoor and stairs, but the apartment is totally private and you will not be bothered by me. Sometimes guests and I only meet when they arrive and never see each other again. When you arrive I'll show you the apartement and am happy to answer all your questions and to provide you with info, maps or flyers about the city and her surroundings. If you need help or extra info during your stay, I am always reachable by phone.
Hi, my name is Piekel and I am a painter of art. About 10 years ago I moved from Amsterdam to Maastricht (sometimes one needs a change of atmosphere, I can recommend it! ). I could buy this beautifull double house in this marvellous little city. In the house on the groundfloor I lived with my 2 children, who are now both studying in... Amstedam. And there is also room enough for a big studio. In the house on the second and third floor I made a B&B. I find making art and running a B&B is an ideal combination. The creative but lonesome work in my studio mixes very good with the functional work for the B&B. To welcome the guests, even though the contact is usually very brief, makes me always happy and proud.
