We had a really wonderful stay here, the house is very comfortable, clean, cosy and warm. It's spacious and a great space for hosting weekends with friends or family. The views are wonderful, and the balcony and way the lounge is set up mean you can enjoy the views whatever the weather. Laura was a fantastic host - really responsive and helpful in the run-up to our stay, and the house is full of lovely touches, like wine and chocolates on arrival and lovely flowers on the countertop and even a chocolate on the beds when we arrived! We felt very at home in this beautiful home, and wouldn't hesitate to come and stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Laura's house very much. The name of the house fits it perfectly..the view at the South Downs is fantastic!! The house is itself is very spacious, clean and cosy! We made a nice walk following a part of the South Downs route, had a lovely lunch at the bearby tearoom and a nice beer and dinner at the pub a few doors down. Laura answered my questions always very fast and gave us a lot of practical information about public transport and the facilities around. I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a quiet place to stay just away from London!! (40min by train from Gatwick airport)

What an amazing view. Even with storm Brian raging outside we had a wonderful stay. Your eyes are just drawn to the windows constantly, I lost count of how many rainbows we saw! Very dramatic landscape. The house is spacious and yet cosy. The layout provides space for sharing and escaping on your own. Lovely walks nearby to Parham house and along the river Arun. Lots of little pubs nearby - really nice one by the station and a convenient one 2 minutes down the road from the house. Arundel nearby to visit for the castle and farmers market. Highly recommend lauras place. Laura is also very responsive and helpful with booking. Thank you laura!

I love sports, reading and exploring. I try to get outside as much as possible but also love curling up on the sofa. My favourite spaces are spacious, clear yet cosy and that's what I hope to create as a host. Visit for loads of tea, fresh air and splashes of colour.
