The space
THE HOUSE
The 4 bedroom house sits on top of a hill and sleeps 9 comfortably with 3 bedrooms on the upper floor which share a (very) large 4 piece bathroom and one on the lower level next to the 2nd full bathroom and large games/TV room. The kitchen, dining and living area are all on the main floor and look out to the lake facing south. There is no shortage of seating options throughout the house including the sunroom and porch. For outside dining, step to the walkout deck where you will find the BBQ and more seating. Remember to keep your food locked away as the wildlife is plentyfull.
The interior design is curated with local + Canadian artwork and furnishings with a modern eclectic style coupled with a warm vintage touch. Some of the art work is available to purchase simply by contacting the artist’s card provided next to each piece that is for sale. Built by predecessors with some of the owner's finishing touches, the house was made to last with sustainability in mind. From its ICF infrastructure and heating sources, to the natural soaps and cleaning products made available to guests, this space makes gentle + green living easy.
A downhill walk to the water brings you to a comfortable south facing dock with Muskoka chairs, kayaks and paddle boat.
