This place is what is advertised: No frills stay for travelers on a budget who need a place to sleep and shower and will be out most of the day (as myself). The house is located in a working class neighborhood. If you look for fancy accommodations, you might consider other places. For a comfy stay with the basics on a budget, this is a great place.
The home was as described . Bedding was comfortable. Was a bit of a mildew mold smell upon arrival, but once ac got going and a little freshener it was ok. The area is less than diserable, but once in the home we felt safe and very comfortable. The apartment is super cute and cozy and worked for the 2 of us
Bélgica was a great host! She was kind and helpful. We needed to print our HHN tickets but we were unaware until right before our scheduled leaving time. Bélgica offered us her printer and welcomed us into her home. She made sure we were well taken care of and knew where we could reach her at all times. The place was cozy and clean. Just a short drive from restaurants and Universal. The neighborhood can be a little intimidating but all of the neighbors are super nice. Thank you for such a nice stay!
horrible neighborhood. Unsafe, saw drug dealers and prostitutes. The home itself was dirty looking underneath a mask of febreze spray. the decor was bright green and zebra. the beds were less than advertised and the linens looked mismatched and unclean. As 4 women going to a conference we were looking forward to having an apartment for the weekend that we would be able to relax in and feel safe. We were so uneasy about the arrangement that we actually payed an extra $300 to stay in a hotel for the 2 nights. I am so disappointed and feel incredibly taken advantage of money wise. Belgica could not even communicate properly due to the lack of english. She advertising the apartment sleeps six when there was only 2 twin beds including one on springs folded up in the closet without sheets. The full size bed was sagging and all of the beds were in one room.
