Reduced to $1200 for April! Get in touch for this special price. This second floor apartment located in the center of hip West Asheville is in walking distance to delicious restaurants, bars, coffee, unique shops and craft beer! And downtown is only a seven minute Uber or Lyft ride away. This space has character, is full of local original contemporary art, and has an eclectic vibe with its vintage, modern style. The kitchen is fully functional with a brand new fridge.

The space
Built in 1915, the house has a lot of charm and character. The apartment is on the top floor, above a local designer's studio, and feels like it's perched up above Haywood Rd. The retro kitchen's windows are full of light and have a beautiful mountain view. With two spacious bedrooms, a futon in the living room, and a remodeled bathroom, this is a comfortable and convenient base for your Asheville adventures. There is dedicated off-street parking for your use.

Guest access
You will be given a private code to access the side entry in the front of the building. This will be your own private entrance. Please note that guests must be able to climb a flight of stairs.

Other things to note
Summer can get hot in Asheville, so we have AC units for every bedroom in the apartment. In the winter, we set the temp to warm. Also, you will need to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the apartment.
We also now have an Amazon Fire Stick so you can log into your own Netflix, Hulu, or HBO on the TV.
There is also a laundromat conveniently located across the street if you need it.

West Asheville is a kid-dog-friendly-come-as-you-are neighborhood. Whether it is vintage or cutting edge modern, the bohemian culture is alive and well here! West Asheville is home to our favorite coffee shops, markets, music venues, bars and healing arts services. We recommend Odd's Cafe in the morning, picking up some fresh groceries at The West Village Market for lunch, and treating yourself to a spectacular meal at the hip Jargon restaurant for dinner. The music scene is amazing in West Asheville! Check out The Mothlight, Odditorium or Isis Music Hall.
And on Wednesdays and Sundays, you may catch the gospel choir at the church next door.

Elise and I have been Asheville residents since 1995 and have taken over this Airbnb in July of 2017. We chose this 1915 building in our own neighborhood to host Elise's shop downstairs from the apartment as well as guests from all over the country and the world. I am a local college humanities teacher and a painter (a number of original paintings are in the apartment). We love the local food, music, beer and outdoor scene and want to share it all with you. We love our city and hope you will too!

During your stay
The owner of the shop below is my lovely wife, so if you need anything while she is open, please don't hesitate to drop in. We live just a mile down the road, so are easily available should anything come up.
