Super central - close to everything. Felt very secure. Easy to check in. Cute place, clean, enough towels, comfy bed. There’s AC which is amazing when it’s super hot outside! Nice busy street view. Quick walk to the beach. And about 15-20 minutes to shopping / shuk. Would definitely stay here again!

Karen's place is indeed very well located near the Tel Aviv ports and walking to various restaurants made this choice acceptable. We have informed Karen on how to stock the unit a bit better with extra paper towel rolls, pillows, linens etc. The bathroom and the bedroom are really tiny so set expectations accordingly.

We stayed 2 nights in Karen´s place. The location is okay but we arrived and the elevator wasn´t working. We had to carry two big luggages for 7 floors and once we left the apt the same thing. The kitchen wasn´t that clean , there were ants all over and we found a cockroach in the carpet. The apt is just one floor, the stairs goes to other door that is not allowed to open so the place is not as big as in the pictures. Karen didn´t give us a good service.

Two of us stayed here for ten days. The location of this apartment is excellent, however, there are a few BUTS. The apartment is small, it is tiered and needs re-decorating. The bedding was grubby, we were left only one small towels each, we asked Karen if we could have a change of towels but this fell on deaf ears. The apartment was advertised to have a washing machine, but it hasn't. There are very few utensils with very little crockery. On other reviews Karen the host was described as helpful. We found her to be very UNHELPFUL. On our last day we asked her if there was anywhere for us to leave our luggage as we had to vacate by 11am and our flight wasn't until 9pm. She told us cleaners needed get the apartment ready for the next guest, as the check in time isn't until 2pm. We were told NO. We definitely wouldn't stay here again(URL HIDDEN)

The place was alright, but Karen was a extremely unpleasant and hostile. When it came time to check in, the initial automatic instructions were incomplete- When I contacted her for access codes, she responded hostility and told me to "read the instructions", which I did- they were brief and included no access codes. After repeating that to her multiple times, she agreed to "resend" the manual (i.e., send for the first time). Once she actually sent it, about 15 minutes later while I twiddled my thumbs at the locked door, access was simple, and the rest of the stay uneventful. I would recommend travelers avoid Karen as a host.

Excellent location. Probably about the best area you could be. Right in the middle of all the best restaurants in all of Tel-Aviv and many good stores around. Also, one minute walk to the boardwalk/promenade along the Mediterranean. Awesome for walking and also for some nice runs, about 14 Kms long total, and about 8kms one way to Jaffa port. Really nice if you jog/run. In addition, short walk the other way gets you to the Yarkon Park for walks and runs on paved trail along both sides of the river. Small apartment, all one one level, just big enough for two of us, but adequate for our three week stay, although most of our time was spent out enjoying Israel. Would feel smaller if you were spending considerable time indoors. Wifi worked consistently and fast. Shower and Hot water works well, once you figure out to turn on 20 minutes before a shower and back off after, with the Red Wall Switch outside the bathroom. Couldn't find Caffetiamo coffee pods for the onsite cappuccino machine anywhere in the area(checked a lot of stores), but Karen generously arranged for some to be delivered to us. There was no microwave, but the toaster oven, stovetop, and kettle worked well for us. AC in bedroom and living room works well. TV had lots of English for us. No washer or dryer onsite for us to use but self-serve laundry about 20 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride away and worked well. Recommend bringing some extra linens and towels if extended stay. Building Entrance, hallways, and elevator aren't the brightest/nicest, but apartment was very clean, well maintained, and quiet during our stay. Would highly recommend to one or two travelers looking for a good place to rest/sleep while enjoying the sites of Israel and the atmosphere of North Tel-Aviv.
