We enjoyed this loft for a single evening/morning we spent in St. Louis. Location fun, walked to Arch, parking was easy and free. Unfortunately not much at Laclede's landing currently but still a few restaurants. At the loft the bathroom was clean, shower was hot and bed was comfortable. I agree with other reviewers that second bed is not really useable due to light and noise coming in the window. Luckily we had along a kid sized aerobed for my three year old so that worked out fine for our family but there's not much more room than that in the bedroom. Kitchen pretty bare bones if you are looking to eat in much. Also having a 3 year old we missed having a TV a bit since bedtime is early but we survived :) Overall the place has some cool atmosphere but lacks a bit in the final decision and finishing touches that would make it a really neat City loft... Which is not a complaint, just observations for future travelers to set their expectations accordingly.

My friends and I had a great stay in the loft. Everything met expectations and more! The parking instructions can be a little confusing but the reality is, it’s free and actually only a minute away from the loft. Once you are parked, get ready for a great stay!

Read the description, its 2017 and there is NO wifi, it is also an older building so apparently the ac has a hard time keeping up and the water knobs are backwards in the shower. The fold out beds could use some new padding but it's manageable. It was very clean and spacious and very close to downtown and where we were attending our event. The price was perfect for our group of women to split. I'd recommend it to a friend and would return if ever needing a place in St. Louis again.

Unfortunately, our stay did not go as we would have hoped. The AC was not working in the apartment and it was almost 100 degrees outside. When I reached out to Leonard, he basically thought saying 'Sorry' was sufficient. We had two babies with us and a simple 'Sorry' just does not cut it in that situation. If the listing states there is AC, then as the host, you should have the AC on and running prior to your guests arriving to verify it is working, especially when it is 100 degrees outside, and extra especially when the guests are bringing infants. Also, when trying to shower the next morning after sweating through the night, the water was unbearably hot. When you turned the knob to 'Cold', it shot out water so hot you thought your skin was going to burn. When you turned it to 'Hot', it for some reason was slightly less hot, but still so hot that the best you could do was give your body one rinse and shut the water off. Unfortunately, Leonard did not handle the AC situation in an acceptable manner, so I did not even waste my time texting him about the shower situation because I did not want to experience another awful way to handle a guests concern. There was a very simple way to handle this that would have resulted in me understanding that things happen and we were the unfortunate ones that experienced it; however, the simple way was not chosen by Leonard and he decided to just state that the AC was working all summer and leave it at that. Unacceptable. Just plain unacceptable.
