We wish you welcome to this very special apartment located in the middle of an 1929 industrial designed master cabinetmakers/ebeniste workshop building. Apartment is spacious - with modern bathroom, kitchen facilities, dining area, 2 TV livingrooms, a/c, big windows, beds for 4/5/6 people, a cozy backyard and terrace; all located in a very quite west side area of townhouses. Its 2-6 minutes walk to city center, harbour, railway and buses. Several grocery stores and restaurants 40-80 m away.

The space
This studio cityapartment is quite special, decorated in a whole of vintage furnitures, collectables, arts, books and antiques. Its located in the middle of the old "1929" workshop itself, still with some rustical patina, old tools, wooden working benches and other traditional equipment exhibited as well. However there is not a operated workshop on your floors, you are on your own within apartment.

You enter the building into its groundfloor from the backyard. Into the groundfloor hall you will come to a modern designed bathroom (yours alone), well equipped with all you need, like shower, washing machine, iron and hairdryer. The bathrom is around 5 sqm.

In the spacious first floor (yours alone) there is a modern design kitchen (brand new Dec. 2017), a dining area, a living room with TV (40" TV, cable TV, soundsystem, HDMI and phone cables) and a writing desk for some office work as well. This floor is approx 66 sqm.

There is also a door leading out from this floor to a lovely and spacious roof terrace (brand new 2017).

You get access to a spacios attic (yours alone) up a stepladder, contending sleeping section and another living room with TV (55" TV, cable TV, soundsystem).

The beds are located here, separated by internal curtains. You can set the window curtains in different positions to ban out any light from outside, if you prefer to sleep in total dark. Its blessed with very peaceful sleeping conditions as well.

There is beds for 4 people in this attic (one bed size 150 x 200 and two beds size 80 x 200 cm.). There is also prepared for extra beds (sizes up to 120 x 200 cm.) for 1-2 persons underneath the attic, sharing the big floor also containing your kitchen and living room. In case of special request its possible to place extra beds in this floor, if you are a group of 6 and still want to stay here.

The underneath groundfloor workshop is now a small part-time business, mainly to take care of the long traditions of an old master cabinetmaker / ebeniste workshop going back even to the 1850's. You will not be disturbed from this workshop, but it would add a traditional flavour to your stay.

The building itself is built and designed for that purpose in 1929, and benches, interior, floors & walls is influenced of that tradition. There is an small antiqueshop in the groundfloor, connected to the workshop.

Building has free WIFI. And it is well equipped with fire alarms direct to operator and Fire Department as well. There is a fire hose in groundfloor, several fire extingusiers, fire blankets and fire sprays too. Building is designed with escape routes in case of an emergency.

There is also a small safe for your disposal, in case you prefer to keep documents, valuables, cameras etc inside of it.

You can park in a public parking center nearby and in the street just outside house. But note there might be public parking fees. You can also park in a nearby street for free, 4 minutes walking distance from house.

Guest access
You might get acces to use our bicycle, if not occupied. Dont forget to lock it when parked.
