The rustic trullo is quietly located between olive trees on a 12,000 m² plot – ideal for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet. Simple but charming, it offers practical amenities, plenty of outdoor space and personal care. No luxury, but authentic, individual and far from mass tourism – a retreat with soul for those who appreciate originality and tranquility. Pets welcome, car required.

The space
Our Trullo is a 300-year-old stone house restored in accordance with the monument - a traditional type of building in Apulia, which was originally used by farmers as simple, functional living and storage rooms. Typical of this construction is the central, large dome room, which today serves as a cozy sleeping area with a comfortable king-size bed (see photos).

Another room of about 10 m² – also open, without a door, but with a curtain as a privacy screen – houses two small single beds as well as the wardrobe. The bathroom was added in the late 1990s as a separate extension and has two sinks.

Like many traditional houses in the region, our trullo also has a cistern – the water is therefore not suitable as drinking water. The hot water supply is provided via a boiler, which can be switched on easily if necessary.

The trullo is idyllically located between Cisternino and Martina Franca - surrounded by greenery, away from the hustle and bustle, in absolute peace.
The trullo is rural – a car is therefore necessary.

Important to know:
Our house is not luxurious, but simple - a place for nature lovers, peace seekers and individualists. If you are looking for designer furniture and high-tech cuisine, you will be happier elsewhere. But if you want to experience the authentic south of Italy, away from mass tourism, you will find a real retreat with plenty of space.

Other things to note
Since this is a large double bed in the living area and a small additional room, we recommend 2 adults in the double bed and 2 children in the bedroom. Otherwise, it can unfortunately get tight quickly!
However, the bathroom is large and has enough space with two sinks and two shelves.
