Renovated wine cellar for 6 people with flowered courtyard in the hamlet of "La Gibertière", 5 minutes by bike from Gauterelle beach.
The space
We rent our secondary house (renovated cellar 2021) located in the hamlet of La Gibertière – near Sauzelle - in the municipality of Saint-Georges d'Oléron.
The house is organized on one level on a surface of 95 m2 and has 3 bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen open to this same room as well as a separate bathroom, a shower room (adjacent to the parents' room) and a toilet.
The house is very bright and enjoys a high ceiling in all rooms
It has a 60 m2 vegetated and flowered courtyard with a "relaxation side" - (wooden terrace) and a "dining side". The terrace is south facing and enjoys the sun all day long.
The house also has a secure shelter for your bikes, surfboards, paddles, beach games, etc.
The courtyard of the house is adjoining the garden of our neighbors and separated by a wall.
Parking is free about 100 meters from the house (possibility, however, to unload the car (luggage, shopping...) "at the foot" of the house).
The street that crosses the hamlet of La Gibertière leads to nothing other than the houses that compose it and the traffic there is, therefore, very low, including in July and August.
The sandy beach of La Gauterelle is 1.2 km away and directly accessible by the bike path.
The ocean beaches of the south of the west coast (Vert Bois...) are about twenty minutes by car and those further north about ten minutes (Les Huttes...). Saint-Pierre d'Oléron and its many shops are less than 15 minutes by bike (market every day).
Saint-Georges d'Oléron (press / tobacco / supermarket / restaurants/tourist office) is a dozen minutes by bike and less than 5 minutes by car.
Right next door, in Cheray, a market is also present every day.
Boyardville (boat crossing to La Rochelle and Île d'Aix and tourist and sports activities at sea) is within 10 minutes of the house.
The golf course and marina of Saint-Denis d'Oléron are respectively within 10 and 15 minutes by car.

Barbecue and brazier.
Bed linen and flat linen are provided (remember to bring your beach towels).
Housekeeping fees are mandatory and included in the rental price.
We leave at your disposal, if you wish, 3 bicycles (not new). An adult mountain bike, a teenager mountain bike, and a women's mountain bike.
Minimum rental period in high season (July, August and Easter holidays): 1 week (7 nights).
