My place is close to the city centre, parks, art and culture, and great views. You will love the of the comfy bed and the cosiness. Guests remark on how peaceful the location is considering it is just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Ireland's second city. They report great sleeps! The bathroom ajoins and is for guests private use, effectively ensuite. Downtown is a short walk though the narrow lanes of Shandon. A short walk from the railway station and bus terminal. City bus No. 202.

A cosy room in a lovely house in the historic Shandon area. Kieran is a great host and had lots of helpful tips and suggestions of what to do and where to go, which made a real difference to my stay.

Absolutely amazing. Kieran welcomed me with a bunch of tips where to go and what to see in Cork city and surrounding area. The room itself is very cosy and location very good. My experience was way above average. Cheers!

There is no question Kieran's place is practically next to the cathedral which is only an easy walk to city centre and ideal spot in Cork. Kieran gives you a very detailed orientation of the area which almost seems so formal like you're in a class. He is a very nice guy and went the extra mile in riding around with me to find a proper parking spot. The bedroom is as small as advertised but the bed was comfortable and though you can hear the bells toll from the cathedral, it is only a soft and muted sound. I slept very well. The bathroom is large which was nice. Overall a great short visit in Cork city. Thanks Kieran.

I had a really nice time staying here! Kieran was very accommodating of my early arrival, and he offered good recommendations around and outside of Cork. The house is right near some beautiful cultural landmarks and is about 20 minutes to the main station on foot.

I have done a lot of travelling in the past, including a cycle tour from Belfast to Venice. A life member of An Oige, the Irish Young Hostelling organisation. I love the Irish coast landscape, especially Sheep's Head in West Cork. Photography is one of my passions. Love welcoming guests, giving them information to enhance their visit and sometimes bringing on tour around Cork city and county.
