You will be staying IN THE COUNTRYSIDE and close to nature/fields in an annex from the early 1900s. Completely renovated former farmhouse and village chamber with white plaster walls, tiled floors and tiled toilet including shower. Cozy and adapted kitchen in a little retro style.
The space
BEDROOM -> We offer a bright room of 16 sqm with a 160 Continental bed including pillows and duvet.
The bed has 1 large and thick mattress, and there is a fitted sheet on it. There are 2 duvets, 2 pillows (2 extra are in the dresser)
-> YOU bring your own sheets and pillowcases
The bedside tables are wall-mounted, so the bed cannot be moved. There is a higher dresser for e.g. clothes storage.
The bedroom has blackout roller blinds and curtains. There is room for a TRAVEL BED for baby. Ask the host if a high chair is required.
The HALL has a sideboard with a freestanding marble sink. The base cabinets contain cleaning supplies. There are blackout roller blinds over the windows.
TOILET incl. SHOWER is in white tile and with tiled floors in a matching soft tone.
-> You bring your own shower gel, etc. and towels.
-> There is a possibility to RENT towels and sheets
We ask you to carefully read our INSTRUCTIONS (even in English) on site regarding access to water and use of the toilet. There MAY be limited water during the summer in connection with the irrigation ban. Good to know, before showering.
The KITCHEN is about 12 sqm with tiled floors. There are - in addition to appliances - a microwave, air fryer, toaster, coffee maker and kettle as well as the necessary dishes and cutlery.
On the wall in the kitchen, there is a book and brochure shelf with information about Österlen and the surrounding area. In addition, a shelf with FREE books to take home.
Guest access
Outside the entrance is a patio with table and cast iron sofa. There's also a portable grill and a simple drying rack in the shed.
The grass area next to and along the annex may be used up to the marked boundary, AS WELL AS the wooden deck patio next to the field and the small studio. There are two folding chairs and a larger table. Cushions are in the shed next to the entrance.
NOTE - be sure to bring in the cushions after use due to the risk of rain! Same thing with the grill - empty and close the lid.
PARKING is on the grass area in front of the accommodation and next to the lilac bushes and P-sign - or as agreed.
Other areas are private.
Other things to note
NON-SMOKING and PET-FREE accommodation. For allergic reasons, we must DECLINE accommodation even for guide dogs.
CLEANING: YOU are responsible for ensuring that the accommodation is in the same condition when you leave as it was when you arrived at the accommodation.
This means that there are cleaning and cleaning supplies available for how you want to leave the accommodation. If you have any questions about this, please contact me well in advance of your arrival.
NOTE -> If I have to perform cleaning that has not been done - then Airbnb's rules apply, i.e. Airbnb will make a claim to the guest who has omitted cleaning, emptying of garbage and any ash from the grill... BUT cleaning can be solved on site for a fee.
SEAT CUSHIONS: It is the responsibility of each guest to hang back used cushions for chairs/sofa - immediately after use. This is to avoid sudden rain (which has happened on a few occasions). It takes time to dry soaked cushions - so it can affect the next guest - too. :-(
