【5 Things to do nearby my place (Komagome)】

1. Go to Rikugien Gardens!!
You must know that it's known as one of the most famous gardens from Edo period still extant. Especially it's famous for autumn foliage viewing and the annual illumination event during that season. If you are interested in it, I recommend you going there at night. Fortunately you can walk there within few minutes from my place.

2. Walk through Sugamo Jizo-dori Shopping Street!!
The street is always bustling with many tourists even on weekdays. You can easily find Japanese traditional sweets and goods.
Compared to Shinjuku and Shibuya, the average age of the people who come here is a little higher. That is why the area is also known as "The Harajuku of Elderly Ladies."

3. Stop by Yanaka Ginza Shopping District!!
It's a shopping lane in Tokyo's traditional Yanaka temple district. Yanaka Ginza is a miscellany of little stores offering mainly traditional-style Japanese snacks and sweets, trinkets, souvenirs, clothing, and other accessories. Its atmosphere will bring you back to the Edo Period. Try to go there!!

4. Visit at Nezu Shrine!!
It's one of Japan's oldest shrines, and certainly one of its most attractive. Nezu Shrine is set in lush greenery, with ponds of carp, pathways that are tunnels of small shrine arches, and elegant, beautifully colored, wooden structures that reflect Japanese culture in all its age and beauty.

5. Go for a walk to Kyu-Furukawa Gardens!!
The special features of this park include a western-style mansion that has been constructed on a small hill at the north side of the gardens, making use of the south slope of the Musashino terrace. And a traditional Japanese-style garden centered around a pond sits is located in the lowlands. You can access there within 5 minutes by train. Why not got to there!!

It is a lovely traditional Japanese apartment and we really enjoyed our stay there. The location is perfect for us as it is very near to the metro station which is rather convenient. Que is a fantastic host who is considerate and responsive. Definitely recommended.

We had a great time at Que's house, which is located in a nice residential area and close to komagome metro station. The neighborhood is very calm in the evening but might be a little noisy in the morning (walls are thin). Que was very thoughtful and gave us many advices about Tokyo.

Our stay at Que's house was amazing! The house is really cute and traditional. Everything was very clean and Que was so helpfull. He kept in touch to see if everything was okay and gave us a refund for the last night because we had to cancel it last minute. Not everyone would have accepted that and we really appreciated it so much! The house is located in a very central, but also quiet neigborhood with a lot of good restaurants around. We loved it and would definately recommend this house!

A great little house on two levels, in an up and coming area, not too touristy. A good base to explore Tokyo, I recommend it!
