Sanad’s apartment was amazing! Due to the rain, we were unable to sit our on the huge terrace but the rest of the flat was as described - spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and good kitchen facilities. The location is very safe and our check in was very smoothly arranged - Emad (the check in manager) did two airport pickups for a very reasonable price (I would highly recommend using him rather than trying to find a Taxi as the yellow taxis at the airport have huge queues and are often very dirty and expensive and uber isn’t allowed from the airport and anyway would be roughly the same cost for the journey and you might have trouble being dropped at your door due to the police check points near the flat). All in all a fantastic trip and I will definitely stay with Sanad again when I’m back in Amman! Thank you!!!

The unit is large, which is a plus, and the host communicates well and is helpful. But those are pretty much the only pluses. It is secluded. A bit too secluded. It is in a community that has armed guards (its behind the prime ministry), making it very difficult for Uber or taxi to get to. Every single Uber we got had to be given directions by a local. The unit needs a major maintenance update. We stay at AirBnB very frequently. This unit was one of the least taken care of units we have been to. The dining furniture has lots of stains, the paint is coming off the walls, the bathroom closet under the sink was filled with left over stuff and even a loose toilet paper that looked used. There is stain all over the AC unit. The AC unit in the bedroom is so noisy that it won’t allow you to sleep. The shower head does not stay in place, which prevents you from taking a decent shower. The pictures are probably from when it was brand new. Now it needs a major facelift. The unit also is pretty naked when it comes to little things such as tea, coffee, etc. If you want to book, I would ask for more recent pictures, unless the paint peaking off the walls and stein don’t bother you.

I found many discrepancies when i checked in, but Sansd took care of everything instantly, the beds were very clean , there are a lot of things that had expired but still kept in the apartment like pillows, sauce pans frying pan , but end of the line we loved our stay.

This is a nice apartment in a convenient area. Good to know it is in a secure zone but we felt very safe in Jordan generally anyway. But you will always need car / taxi to get around, we didnt find any local shops / bars / restaurants in walking distance. The apartment looks out onto a very major road so although it is some distance away can still be noisy if you are a light sleeper. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable but could do with a little bit of maintenance. We have pointed out to Sanad that some of the doors / windows need adjustment and some of the lamps have the wrong plugs for the type of sockets. Hopefully he can have someone go in and do a bit of basic maintenance. Towels and bedding etc were all provided OK but the kitchen facilities like cutlery were a bit limited. All simple things that Sanad can hopefully fix, so just check with him before booking.

Sanad's place is exactly as described. We absolutely loved the apartment. We appreciated how secure the building and the area around the building are. Sanad is extremely attentive to his guests- very smooth check in and check out.

Pros and cons for this listing. The apartment itself was nice, modern, comfortable and a great balcony (despite being beside a noisy main road). Check-in was great - Sanad's assistant was a very nice guy who picked us up for free. Very secure and up-market area. Here are the problems: You need to pass through a police checkpoint to access the property. We had multiple delays getting in with police questioning who we were. When ordering a taxi/Uber, most drivers will not come in or get turned away by the police so you can wait up to an hour for a taxi. It's infuriating. There are absolutely no shops or supermarkets within walking distance. The apartment didn't come stocked with anything (no toilet paper, nothing to wash up with, no complimentary tea or coffee). So when we arrived, tired and jet-lagged, we had to order a taxi to go find a supermarket late in the evening (and it took ages to get a taxi driver to come in through the checkpoint). We were tired and frustrated after a few days here. The air conditioning is controlled by motion detectors to save power and they make a loud noise during the night when body movement sets them off. This kept waking up our baby. There's absolutely no way to stop it. The air conditioner in the lounge room doesn't work - it just blows hot air. Toilet also had a mild smell and there was hair in the shower. Overall, the place wasn't bad but certainly needs to work on these issues and make clear that the police checkpoint is a factor for finding transport.

I used to book through booking or other hotel applications , but really sanad home was mix beween great apartment and a privacy of your own home . Me and my family were afraid a little bit since its the first time to deal with airbnb and also with sanad as host ..but after booking with (URL HIDDEN) really change my mind to try it in my next trips in other countries ..and in Jordan i will recognize it as my preferred location to stay in again
