Best experience. So serene. Nice seeing the cows in the front yard. Nice place to just unplug.... Highly recommended...

We stayed in the second cabin with friends, so four adults, our dog and a 2-year old child. The cabin had some pros and cons. Pros: it has a nice patio, lovely for outside dining, very quiet location surrounded by nature (and cows, very nice), a well-equipped kitchen, a nice sitting room and two good sized bedrooms. Cons: some kitchen utensils could have been a bit cleaner on arrival, the bathroom is primitive, and overall the cabin is quite rustic, it could use an update. I think we were the first ones to stay there after the winter season, which might explain a strong smell of mothballs, so although to us this was not really pleasant, could be that this is not always the case. Jean is a very friendly lady, who communicated swiftly and provided us with a warm welcome. We spent a day at Lake Erie Beach, which is only a 30 min drive, had a lovely day there.

Jean was a great host! She had so many recommendations for us in the surrounding area to make sure we enjoyed our time there and found our way around ok. The location is conveniently situated near a number of attractions; state parks, ski slopes, Amish country and of course Niagara. The cabins are great little rustic, farm spaces to call home for a few days. Frogs and crickets chirp at night and cattle mosey through the pasture in your front yard. There is a nice little trail behind the cabins where you can explore the woods. We were the only ones that stayed on the property for the weekend, so we got to tour all three cabins and pick the one we liked best. We went with cabin #1 - the furthest down the lane. It was the brightest and possibly roomiest of the three with a big front porch where we could drink our coffee in the morning and watch the cows. There are kettle grills and fire pits to use, and inside there is a kitchen with a stove and refrigerator plus all of the utensils, cookware and place settings you need for a hearty farm meal. If you're looking for a no-frills country escape, these are the cabins for you!

The cabin is quite rustic! Everything that you need in terms of utensils, towels and bedding was clean and ready for our visit. Bob kindly guided us safely through the little road into the cabin in the dark. We appreciated the cold spring water that was left for us in the fridge- it was sooo hot outside!

Jean is a great host. She is very interactive and helped us in choosing the nearby attractions according to our taste. The cabins are pristine. The location is beautiful and secluded. I would love to stay again.
