Only very small snowmobile trailers under 10 feet can be accommodated during winter.
Other things to note
Please note that these properties are located near other homes and are not completely secluded. If you’re looking for a fully private or secluded property with no neighboring homes nearby, this may not be the best choice for you.
This house can accommodate very small trailers below 10 feet. However, be aware that during winter months this area can get a very large amount of snow (1 foot in 24 hours which is exacerbated by drifts due to strong winds) in a short period of time and even though we do our absolute best to plow the roads the crews can be overwhelmed during such times. If you plan to bring trailers then bring them at your own risk. We do not guarantee we can accommodate such a large trailer during winter storms.
Please note that the location is at an elevation of 7,000 ft, where weather conditions can be unpredictable and snowfall may occur at any time of the year. We recommend arriving well-prepared for changing weather conditions.
Guests should be aware that this cabin is in the forest/woods which is home to many creatures big and small. Although there is a pest control company that comes frequently, some of the tiny ones may get into the cabin from time to time. NO REFUNDS will be granted because someone saw a spider, a fly, a wasp, a mouse, an ant, etc.
You will be asked to agree an outside contract that clarifies the details and ensures proper expectations on both sides.
The properties are surrounded by meadows which can at times grow to be tall. If you expect Kentucky Bluegrass at all times around the property, we may not be the best choice for you. Thank you so much.
Your hot tub and/or BBQ will be maintained weekly. A person will be at the property to do the maintenance. We cannot modify the scheduled time since we are in a rural area and attend to the hot tubs on a somewhat changing schedule. Please consider this fact as you book.
Please note that our home is located in a rural area, where summers are typically dry and dusty. It is very common to have dust, debris and cobwebs on the decks and outside areas in spite of our efforts. Also, fire pits may not be usable due to fire restrictions.
Also, road and other constructions are passable in neighboring properties, and we cannot control what neighbors or county do on theirs lots and properties.
The outside of the cabin maybe be different from the depicted photos based on the season, sunset and more. This is a high altitude and forested area and the landscape changes immensely from season to season. This is not a city dueling, and as such the meadows and landscaping around the cabin will change throughout the season. We ask you to take note of this before booking.
Allergy Disclaimer: While our home is professionally cleaned before each stay, we cannot guarantee that it is completely free of dust, fragrances, pollen, or other allergens. Guests with severe allergies, asthma, or chemical sensitivities should carefully consider this before booking, as we cannot guarantee an environment entirely free of potential allergens.
