As you arrive at the Old Duckhouse, you will immediately get the feeling of peace and quiet where you can start to unwind as you look across the fields. There is ample room here with a large sitting room and dining area. Relax and keep warm a snug in the colder months with the wood burning stove. Bring your dog(s) and there are plenty of places to walk nearby. The cottage is well located for many sights to explore in Kent and East Sussex. The coast and woodlands aren’t far and several towns.

We had a lovely long weekend stay here. The location is very serene and has lovely views over the countryside. Our 2yr old loved the goats and the space to run around. Everything is very clean and the living room is a great size.

Richard is a great host, keeping in touch to see that all was OK and providing milk and bread when we had forgotten to get any. The place is wonderful to stay in, so well equipped, very comfortable, with splendid views and we loved the goats.
