Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Jestina's Cottage is walking distance to the Rocky Neck Art Colony, Gloucester Stage, restaurants, Niles Beach and a short bike ride to Good Harbor Beach. You’ll love the cottage because of the ambience and the location; you feel like you are lost in the woods of Maine but you are close to everything. The cottage is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and pet-friendly.

The space
Jestina was the cook for artist Nell Blaine, a New York artist who painted here in the summers. Nell was in a wheelchair after contracting polio and had Jestina and assistants to help her work. There are books about Nell around the cottage.

The cottage has a bedroom space attached to a small kitchen, and a screened-in porch with comfy seats and a view of the gardens and woods. There is also a small table for eating or working.

I run a small non profit in Gloucster MA. (Website hidden by Airbnb) My job gives me the opportunity to travel the world and renting the cottage really helps to offset the NGO salary.
