Wake up to stunning views and breathe in pure alpine air in beautiful surroundings just off the ski slopes and cross-country trails on top of Vrådal Panorama.
Vrådal is great for all seasons. Here you can go cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, swim in Nissevannet with fine sandy beaches, play golf on a 9-hole golf course or just take a walk on various hiking trails.
There is also a public sauna with a lake nearby as well as playgrounds and a skate ramp.
Here body and soul can find peace.
The space
The cabin was built in 2007 and has a large living room with wood burning stove, open kitchen with dining room, large sunny terrace around the cabin with beautiful panoramic views.
The cabin has 3 bedrooms with beds for 8 people. Baby bed with pillow/duvet and high chair are also available.
It also has a sauna attached to the bathroom.
Guests have access to one of the outdoor storage sheds. There is also equipment such as a toboggan, extra garden chairs, garden cushions, clothes rack, ironing board/iron, etc.
Guest access
Guests have the entire cabin for themselves. You have the entire first floor as well as an outdoor shed where there is also various equipment for sledding, ironing board/iron, etc. for use. You can store ski equipment etc. in the lockable storage room.
The second floor and the other shed are private and not available.
Other things to note
Vrådal Panorama has a toll that costs NOK 65 when you pass by car up to the cabin areas in the hills. Payable within 48 hours of passing - see signage at the entrance to the area for more information.
Vrådal Panorama clears the roads as needed. The courtyard (which has space for 4 cars) will be cleared on the day of arrival. Otherwise, guests must shovel themselves if needed on the terraces and courtyard. Snow shovel is at the entrance.
Guests bring their own bed linen, sheets (bunk beds: 90/200 and 120/200; double bed: 160/200 cm), towels and kitchen towel. Otherwise, bed linen/towels can be ordered in advance for NOK 250 per person.
Electricity, WiFi, as well as a basket of firewood (provided from the wood pile at the entrance) are included in the price. Wood can be purchased in Vrådal city center (Joker grocery store or near the Tourist Information).
Final cleaning is mandatory and costs NOK 2,250.
The cabin has stairs from the parking down to the entrance and will be difficult to access for wheelchair users.
