Welcome to the Little Locust Lodge! We are about a 15 minute walk from downtown on the charming Westside. The space is a quiet studio apartment with its own separate entrance. Shaded by a mature Oak tree, you will appreciate the privacy and charm of this sweet little space.

The space

The studio apartment fits 2 comfortably; it is about 220 sq.ft. Amenities include a comfortable comfy queen-sized bed, kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, toaster and electric kettle, a dining nook, and bathroom with a tub shower. Wi-Fi is available to our guests, and the smart TV will have access to Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu. Assorted Keurig coffee and tea will be available. Please enjoy any snacks/fruit, and bottled water that is there.

Our house was built in the late 1920's, so it is quirky and charming. We are living in the house above the apartment so expect to hear occasional 'family life" upstairs. We do our best to keep the noise down.

Guest access

The separate studio apartment has its own little courtyard for you and your pets to enjoy.

Interaction with guests

We are here or always available by phone if you have questions or need anything! We have two dogs: Jack (little brown) and Rita (taller brown). Rita may greet you with some barks - she is timid with strangers, but they have their own space, and will most definitely be checking out the scene (from their own part of the yard).

Other things to note

The City hosts free concerts in the downtown park on Thursday evenings in June- August. Pack a picnic or enjoy the many restaurants surrounding the park! Also, the California MidState Fair is in July/August of each year, and it's only about a mile away.

Even though daytime temps can get pretty warm, it is best to take a jacket or sweater with you for the evenings because it gets chilly after the sun sets. If you need transportation, we use Fetch Cab or Uber is available.

Caryn was great! She was very responsive and the place was so cute and exactly what we needed. The downtown area was quaint and close by and we had a great dinner at the Hatch. Caryn left us instructions for everything, including restaurant recommendations. I will definitely reach out to Caryn again when I return to Paso Robles.

Matthew and I love our little town and we are looking forward to sharing it with you. During your stay, you may find Matthew in the garage fixing/building/fabricating anything with wheels. I'll be in the garden, hanging out with our daughter, or out walking with our dogs. Whe…
