We are fully-licensed farm stay here at Serenity Sheep Farm Stay.

The space

Our land, YOUR TENT hence the tent space! Bring your own tent and pitch it on the farm. There is not a real bed, despite what the listing says. I can't change that.
This listing is for up to 3 people. Let me know if there are more than that in your party.
We have 2 antique shepherd's wagons for rent as well as a cabin. This tent space is in a field that is shared with them. There is one composting outhouse and a propane, heat-on-demand shower house as well as a fire pit. All are shared spaces. This tent space is a field on a farm. We have lots of farm animals wandering about, but fenced in. The chickens do roam. We also have Richardson's grond squirrels, more commonly known as gophers, who can dig holes and tear up the ground. With all of that said, we are not a campground per se. We only allow 2 tent guests at a time, so this is not like a large commercial campground.
We are 8 miles from Belgrade and Yellowstone International Airport, 10 miles from i-90 and 20 miles from downtown Bozeman.

$20 fee to pick up your dog poop!

Please take a look at our sheepherder's wagons we have available to get a better idea of location and scenery.

Space includes a composting outhouse and a shower house with heat-on-demand hot water.

Quiet, private, not a campground. It's a working farm.
20 minutes from Bozeman.

Guest access

We can provide space for horses or other animals if you're traveling with them.

SPRINT customers.....Montana has virtually no Sprint service. Be prepared!

Other things to note

Portlandia residents, I do discounts/trade for Ruby Ale!

Our bedtime is 10:00 pm. Some days earlier. We realize travel plans change and late arrivals are a part of that. It's common for guests to come in late, so I can give you easy, specific directions to the place in that event. Past 10:00 pm, we sleep! :-)

I really enjoyed my stay at LaVonne's. I pitched my tent there for two nights and enjoyed the openness, adorable farm animals, talking to LaVonne about the area, and getting a needed break from the national parks. The camping was basic, as it should be, with a clean outhouse and nice hot water shower. I used the grill one night and it worked great. Not much going on in Belgrade, but both Bozeman and Livingston were interesting and good options for foods and coffee and shopping.

The hosts were welcoming, kind, thoughtful, helpful, and very hospitable. The shower was super cute and was a neat experience. I loved that you don't run out of hot water and can see the view. The outhouse was clean and not stinky. I loved waking to roosters in the morning and the sounds of the farm and wildlife. Very serene! I appreciated coffee brought to us immensely at around 7 am. That was a wonderful touch! I really like the hosts and their dog is adorable. I highly recommend this place if you like rural accommodations. It was an experience I won't forget!

The stay is very unique regardless of the listing you go with. LaVonne was incredibly accommodating for my girlfriend and I, which only added to the stay on her farm. The property itself is nice and the views of the nearby mountains are fantastic even though it was a bit smokey from nearby fires

It is a great camping site, much more peaceful than standard camping grounds. The outhouse and shower are unique, clean and comfortable, the hosts are very hospitable . My daughter had a great fun with farmed animals.

Amazing, quaint, quiet, peaceful, accomodating, and beautiful scenery. If you're looking for relaxation and privacy with a bit of farm life, this is the place. Lavonne was the best host and was very professional and welcoming! You'll get treated like family here. This was my first time doing a farm stay and because of this experience, I'll definitely do it again! A+++++!
