The space

Our village house in the centre of the old town of Saint Cyprien is the perfect place to escape from it all and experience the French way of life.
The house consists of a living room with a large sofa (pulls out to a double bed for extra sleeping) and a dining table with seating for four. The kitchen is brand new, modern and equipped with a two plate stove, microwave, small oven, fridge, electric kettle, coffee maker and everything you might need to prepare meals. You will find cutlery and crockery for four people. The bathroom has a shower, basin and wc.

For al fresco dining in the small garden, an outside wooden table and four chairs are provided. We also have two bikes as the area is ideal for cyclist and hikers alike.

Towels and linen are provided. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed, tables with bedside lamps for reading, a dresser and cupboard space.

Original stone walls in the bedroom and the kitchen add further charm to the house.

Saint Cyprien is ideally situated to explore the Perigord Noir and all it has to offer. It is close to the-so-called golden triangle of medieval Sarlat, Montignac with the world famous Lascaux caves, Les Eyzies's Museum of Prehistory and many castles. It also boasts a bustling bi-weekly market in the town centre - a mere two minutes' stroll from the house!

The area is a nature lover's paradise - possible activities range from walking, cycling, canoeing and endless sightseeing opportunities.

Spending only a few days here will leave you spellbound.

Linde's little village house is situated 50 metres from a medieval abbey on one side, and the heart of St Cyprien on the other. Shops and restaurants are only a few minutes walk, and there is a good Carrefour about 1km away. As a base for exploring the Dordogne it would be hard…

We really liked staying at Linde's house. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a great holiday and Linde went out of her way to make sure it went well. The town is nice and there was so much to do and see nearby.
