This is a one bedroom post and beam apartment, on the second floor of one of our post & beam barns, in scenic East Woodstock, CT. Surrounded by open space, farmland and drumlins, it's ideal for artists, business travelers, traveling nurses, visiting Academy parents and antiquers.
During cold weather it is heated by a pellet stove which is very easy to manage.

This charming loft was extra cozy. The wood stove was always cranking when we returned. Communication was exceptional. Mona’s incredible paintings were throughout the loft. Easy parking and easy to find

Mona's place is incredibly cool, private and cozy as could be! You can tell that an artist put a special touch on the decor, especially the great art that hangs on the walls. It's the perfect place for a weekend getaway or longer with a kitchen, dining area and lots of space to…

Mona’s place was great! Wood pellet stove and lights were already on upon arrival, making it a warm and inviting space. The bed was comfy and the living area was cozy. There were also water bottles in the fridge, which was very convenient. Overall, a really enjoyable stay :)

Rustic in-law apartment in CT’s beautiful quiet corner. Very clean, but being the second floor of an old barn, the floors are not quite level, and sometimes sagged a bit under-foot (not the best place if you have vertigo...but otherwise charming). Small kitchen for preparing a…

Response from Mona:
Yes, Rustic! It was built in the 1780’s and uneven floors are typical over time. We would have recommended an alternative place had we known you had vertigo. Let others know in the future. Much of Woodstock includes older homes and was settled in 1686.

My husband and I can be reached at the main house on the property, in-case there is anything more that is needed. We have a Dutch Shepherd who is sweet once you get to know her.
