Fort Tiracol is a 16th Century Portuguese Fortress carefully perched on a cliff enjoying a view of the Arabian Sea to its right and the Tiracol River to its left. In its charming courtyard, is a church bang the middle. The fort's elevated position and the views it affords from the ramparts are quite something else. Sitting in the "Tavern" on the top verandah, or on one of the rooms' private balconies, experiencing the panoramic seascapes is quite sublime.
