In the heart of Provence 20 mins from Avignon and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, few steps from the Luberon and the Mont Ventoux in an area known for its history, amazing sceneries, blue sky and wines, you will enjoy the calm and comfort of this property ...
This apartment slightly under 50 m² (500 sq/ft) is located outside the village on a land of about 3000 m² (0.75 acre) fully fenced with olive trees, cypresses, palm tree and aromatic plants. A few rows of vines also remind you that you are in the heart of Côtes-du-Rhône.
You enter the house via the living room / kitchen. It is equipped with air conditioning that will give you cool or heat as needed. The living room has a queen sofa bed with real mattresses (see photo of the unfolded sofa). A flat screen TV with Netflix connection will allow you to relax by choosing the film, series, documentaries (or cartoon!) you want to watch.
The well equipped kitchen has a stone counter, fridge, cook top, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, cutlery and utensils you might need during your stay.
The bedroom with its very comfortable queen bed and the peace and quiet of the property will guarantee you a good night's sleep.
The bathroom / toilet is equipped with an Italian shower, stone countertop, storage space, a towel heater. You will also find a hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
A gravel terrace protected from the sun by a vine roof, a table, some chairs and you are now ready to spend pleasant moments with family or friends ...
The swimming pool is located 10m from the apartment and is part of the common areas which are shared with the owner when he is present.
1 dog and 2 cats are running free on the property. These animals are very social but if you have any issue with animals this place is maybe not the best for you ...
The property is located outside the village. The land is fully fenced. The entrance is through a gate closed permanently. A key for the portal and for the apartment will be provided on arrival. You will therefore have a 24h/24h access.
Interaction with guests
The owner lives on the property in the main house. In his presence, he will answer your questions and your expectations. However, due to the nature of his business he might be gone for several days. In this case, you will be alone on the property but a contact person will be designated in the unlikely event of a emergency.
No smoking in the buildings. Smoking is allowed outside at the condition not to let hang butts (see note 1).
Wood barbecues are prohibited. Only use the gas grill (see note 1).
Thank you to respect the neighborhood by limiting the noise to the maximum especially near the pool and after 22:00. The aim is only to apply some simple rules of civility and mutual respect.
For security reason, the owner has to be notified if people other than those provided upon reservation come to join the present tenants (even for a short visit).
Note 1: Provence is a warm and dry country. Production of flames has to be minimized to avoid the risk of fire (especially days of strong wind). Open fires are forbidden anyway by decree many days during the season.
I grew up in Sarrians where my parents had a store. I know the area well enough to guide you and give you some tips about places to visit (or to avoid !). I lived many years in Canada but my love for Provence brought me back to my native village almost 5 years ago now. My job makes me travel around the world and meet different cultures and people. I like long evenings around a table outside in the summer when everybody exchange impressions, ideas and all of this in the light of a candle with the crickets as the only background music ... On my free time I run, cycle or do long hikes in the area in the company of my two daughters and my dog. You are more than welcome to join us if you want !
Hope to see you soon...
