Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Set in the heart of the Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park, Dolmurgoch is ideally placed for walks (several start from the cottage gate). Or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. Our lower field borders the River Lledr and offers a peaceful walk along the river bank where you might see an abundance of birds including herons, buzzards, kingfishers, swallows, dippers and many more. Or maybe take a dip in the river below the weir.

The space
Dolmurgoch is a charming detached stone cottage in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage has been fully renovated but retains its original charm and character.
Entrance to the ground floor is via a porch /cloakroom. An original solid wooden door opens into an attractive kitchen/diner which retains original window features. There is a good sized lounge with comfortable seating, television, wifi and an attractive wood burner fireplace with traditional exposed stone chimney breast.
Upstairs are two good sized bedrooms retaining original features, and a bathroom with toilet, wash basin, bath and shower.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to explore the 14 acres of land surrounding Dolmurgoch. From paddling in the small stream that runs past the cottage to the Afon (river) Lledr that forms our northern boundary. Children should be accompanied at all times in the lower field, and beware the river banks. Anglers can enjoy fishing from the river banks, (subject to fishing licences from Dolwyddelan Fishing Club) Accomplished swimmers enjoy the large pool area below the weir, while others enjoy exploring the sesile oak covered hillock above the lower field.
