Rural Wales awaits, this fabulous barn conversion lies just outside the picturesque village of Berriew. A wonderful base to explore the unspoilted countryside of Mid-Wales with castles, canals, long walks, fishing, sailing and fine dining on offer.

The space

It's a shared living space upstairs and there is one large shared bathroom next to the bedrooms downstairs - there is one twin room and a double available and can sleep a maximum of two persons in each.

Guests are also welcome to use our tennis court and a garden house that over looks the brook at no extra cost.

A continental breakfast is available with your booking on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and you can upgrade to a cooked breakfast on request. We would prefer if guests didn't use the kitchen to cook, but if an evening meal is required on arrival then that can be arranged and provided for an additional fee or there is a pub within walking distance.

Check-in from 18.15 Monday - Thursday and from 17.00 on Fridays - Sunday.

Guest access

You will be welcomed by Rupert on arrival, there is no separate guest access.

You are ensured of a very warm welcome from Rupert - so don’t hesitate and book a stay in this wonderful old converted building. We were very comfortable and had use of a lovely bathroom. We spent a happy evening in front of the tv after having eaten at a nice pub 5 mins walk away. Rupert is delightful and made our whole stay a real pleasure.

Rupert's barn is a really unique and friendly place to stay. The beds were really comfy and the barn was very clean. Rupert helped us out when we booked at short notice and suggested some great walks in the surrounding area. Thanks again!

Lovely accommodation and great hospitality, thoroughly recommend, will certainly be returning

Outgoing friendly and works from home, big fan of fine wine and real ale. Always interested to meet new people especially ones who work for themselves.
