Rural Wales awaits, this fabulous barn conversion lies just outside the picturesque village of Berriew. A wonderful base to explore the unspoilted countryside of Mid-Wales with castles, canals, long walks, fishing, sailing and fine dining on offer.
It's a shared living space upstairs and there is one large shared bathroom next to the bedrooms downstairs - there is one twin room and a double available and can sleep a maximum of two persons in each.
Guests are also welcome to use our tennis court and a garden house that over looks the brook at no extra cost.
A continental breakfast is available with your booking on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and you can upgrade to a cooked breakfast on request. We would prefer if guests didn't use the kitchen to cook, but if an evening meal is required on arrival then that can be arranged and provided for an additional fee or there is a pub within walking distance.
Check-in from 18.15 Monday - Thursday and from 17.00 on Fridays - Sunday.
You will be welcomed by Rupert on arrival, there is no separate guest access.
Interaction with guests
I will be available throughout your stay to make sure you are comfortable and to answer any questions you might have.
Breakfast is served between 8.00-9.00
The host works from home in the shared living area upstairs so this is only available until 8am in the mornings and from 19.00 in the evenings Monday - Thursday. Fridays, Saturday and Sunday these times are much more relaxed because there is breakfast served and it is the weekend.
Check-In by arrangement
Check-Out by 8.45am Monday - Friday and by 10am Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Outgoing friendly and works from home, big fan of fine wine and real ale. Always interested to meet new people especially ones who work for themselves.
