2BR/2BA, 1,300 sq. ft. home located right in the village on a quiet street with a public green space on one side, 1.5 blocks from the Jitney stop, Main St. and the harbor, cook's kitchen, parking space, screen doors, central A/C, 100% cotton sheets, laundry room, office area, plenty of closet space, big claw foot soaking tub, down alternative comforters and pillows, outdoor table, chairs and umbrella. Shhh! Back yard is home to the biggest willow tree in the Hamptons (so we have been told)!

The space

The first floor includes an open living and dining room, a large kitchen equipped for any level cook and for private chefs, a full bathroom with a shower and a bedroom outfitted with two twin beds, a closet for hanging clothes, under bed storage for bags along with a shelf full of lots of Southern gothic fiction.

Up the stairs you will find a full bathroom with a cast-iron claw-foot tub for soaking, a large bedroom with a firm queen bed as well as a comfortable chair and ottoman for reading (or napping), closets for hanging clothes and under bed storage for traveling bags. You will also find the laundry room and an office area with a large desk - if you need your own space in which to communicate with the outside world.

Wi-Fi works throughout. The living area has a 40" smart television with Optimum cable provided.

Guest access

In addition to the entire home, enjoy a private yard with new garden plantings we are encouraging to grow like weeds. Dine al fresco at a table for six.

One off-street parking space is out front for you. However, a car is unnecessary as the location is an easy walk (1.5 blocks or 2.5 blocks depending on which side of the street you count the blocks) to the Sag Harbor Jitney stop in "downtown" Sag Harbor (across the street from the former movie theater on Main Street). Plus, practically everything you need is within easy walking distance.

Interaction with guests

A personal assistant usually stops by to check in on guests during their stay to make sure all is well!

Scott's home is a gem. It's so close to the water and the town and yet it is very quiet and lovely. The kitchen has everything you could possobly want to cook with family and friends - - and dining al fresco is lovely too as the garden is beautiful. And Sag Harbor is perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay in Scott's lovely home. It was spotlessly clean and really comfortably appointed. Super soft sheets and comforters, really well supplied kitchen, easy to understand instructions about trash pick up, house cleaning services etc. The house was really well decorated and inviting. We loved every minute of our stay and hope to return.

My daughters and I really loved staying at Scott's home. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with everything we needed at hand. We loved that we could walk in to town. Scott also compiled a super helpful "handbook" with everything we needed to know about the town. We highly recommend 46 Spring Street!

This is the perfect Sag Harbor house in a great location. One block away from the boats and the marinas, and two blocks from town. The house is beautifully decorated with an amazing perennial garden in the back. It is fully equipped and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this house! And the host was helpful, friendly and attentive. This was a perfect rental.

We had the best time at this home! The house was immaculate and very tastefully decorated, fully stocked with everything we needed and more, including lots of amazing bath products. We cook a lot, and the kitchen had everythng, including coffee, wine and more they left for us, we felt right at home! The house was beautiful, but the best part was definitely the location. We were literally steps away from the best restaurants, shopping and grocery stores in Sag Harbor. We walked into town several times a day (with our toddler who was able to do the walk) to get ice cream, go shopping or walk to dinner, and we were minutes away from the Bay Beaches which are ideal for families. We defnintely hope to be back!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay on Spring St! The house was impeccably decorated, clean, and absolutely everything was thought of...nice sheets, towels, kitchen stocked with proper utensils and pans, etc. We even arrived to a complimentary bottle of wine! The weather was very hot during our stay, so we were grateful for the central A/C. Anna the cleaner came twice during our 2-week stay, which was great too. The house is located in the village of Sag Harbor--right behind town--a perfect location. Close enough to walk but far enough away that it feels like it's also in nature...only a block away from the harbor. Our two young daughters adored the house too, and the two twin beds in their room worked great. I would def recommend this house and we all hope to stay there again next summer.

Simply put, the house was great and the host did everything possible to make the stay enjoyable. It was clean, decorated well, and close to all that town had to offer. We will definitely be back in the future and recommend this place to all.

Longing to live on the Mediterranean in winter and Scotland in summer. Planning a trip to Antarctica at some point in the future, then to Spitsbergen to see the walrus. Graduated college with a degree in English literature and some favorite books/stories/plays/poems are Beowulf, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Long Day's Journey Into Night, My People's Waltz and Paradise Lost. Rarely are movies more entertaining/interesting/enlightening than The Mission, Dangerous Liaisons, Animal House, Journey to the Center of the Earth (original) or District 9. Creole food and truly rich chocolate desserts are as close to heaven as one can get. Family and friends are the most important thing for a life well-lived.
