In the rolling hills of Tuscia, in a tiny classic hilltop village jutting from the rich Etruscan land is your comfortable two bedroom home with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and a balcony overlooking the valley towards Celleno. The pool open (June/ July/August) in the Marquis' lush gardens you must go get the key at the castle and walk down 100MT to the garden and pool. (No Lifeguard)
There is one cafe, a postoffice and each day a van sells basic food and bread.

The space

Writers, elders, families, and all people seeking the peace, tranquility and beauty of the true Italian country life, come to our home in a classic hilltop village at the crossroads of Lazio, Umbria, and Tuscany. This rich cultural area named "Tuscia" from its Etruscan heritage is still unknown to the average tourist. We call it the Rustic Tuscany, bursting with culture, nature and beauty. All around you with olive trees, grape vines and the incredible Lake Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Europe just 15 minutes away by car!!
The owners, Sharon and Richard, created a natural and clean environment with terracotta floors and wood beams ceilings. The house is the entire second and third floor of a palazzo with a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area, with a master bedroom and large bathroom on one floor, and a second bedroom on the third floor, just off the balcony, with an umbrella and seats looking over the lush countryside. To be sitting in this tiny village and sharing in the local scene is a rare feeling and makes for a new and totally relaxing vacation that you will want to have again!
PEACE like you may have forgotten!

Guest access

If you have mobility issues, there are two sets of stairs in the house and you must walk to the pool (100MT.) in June/July and August.
You need a car to fully appreciate this area (rent at Rome airport or in Viterbo) so you can explore the many cultural sites, and eat in the many restaurants offering rich local cuisine like fresh truffles and wild boar pasta!
Your fully equipped home has all the comforts inside with the extra added attraction of having access to the Marquis' beautiful castle gardens and pool for your pleasure. Take a short walk down the cobblestones and enter the gardens and have a swim and listen to all the birds in this garden paradise!!

Interaction with guests

Maurizio and I, Alexandra, have been here for 22 years and we shall help with anything, before, after, and during your stay!
We will make sure you are okay but leave you in peace to play also!

Other things to note

This village is tiny and has only one cafe and post office and a van sells groceries each day and the locals also offer other services like visits to the cantina for buying local wines.

Alexandra is a great host, she gave us a warm welcome, the apartment was very clean and big, we spent a lot of the evenings on the beautiful terrace with a view down from the castle on the street crossing of the village. The apartment was filled with books that were very helpful to discover the surrounding. We will definitely consider coming back. We became fans of Andrea and Roccalvecce!

我们在这舒适的有有年代的石头房子里,忘记了昨天和明天,享受,此时此刻,(weleft some plastic bottle dont put in garbage bag with food , late seprate them maybe more difficult, sorry,)
