Other things to note

-Due to the 2013 flood Highway 34 is under construction between Loveland and Highway 43. There may be some delays associated with this. This won't affect getting to and from the property and Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park.
-There are not grocery stores in the immediate area we will provide you with recommendations on where to shop before you arrive. There is a general store with some of the basics about a 10 minute drive.
-The well-maintained dirt roads in the neighborhood are a bit windy and they climb and descend, but there is no need for a 4WD vehicle.
- The cabin in not childproof (e.g., there are cleaning supplies, paints, heavy and sharp tools, etc. that are not in locked cabinets.)
-This is a nonsmoking home. Smoking is not permitted inside or anywhere on or near the property. Forest fires are a major risk in the area and there are often fire bans. Grills are also not permitted.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is very nice and we especially liked the seclusion and beautiful view from the deck. We even saw three baby deer through the front door. The cabin is very well situated for access to Estes Park and RMNP.

Brian's place was the perfect mountain getaway! He provided great directions, and tons of reccomendations for things to do and see in the area. The cabin was cozy and clean, and the views from the porch were incredible! Would definitely recomend for anyone looking for a quiet, mountaintop retreat.

Very cozy, secluded cabin. Very "homey". Beautiful drive to/from Estes Park area. Quiet residential neighborhood. Very well "provisioned" (e.g., small toothpaste). Kitchen cabinet contents labeled, six light switches by entry door labeled to avoid confusion.

The cabin setting was beautiful. It was quiet and high in the mountains with great views. It was a great place to get away but was only a short drive to Estes Park. There were six in our group. Sleeping space was ample. The large deck was great place to eat meals, have coffee in the morning and take in the views.

The proximity of Estes Park and RMNP is excellent but you can leave the crowds and the noise to the quiet retreat in Glen Haven. The commute from this cabin into town is breathtaking. We saw elk every time we drove to and from town. We enjoyed delicious cinnamon rolls in the small General Store in Glen Haven and stopped alongside the river to enjoy the sights and smells. The cabin is unbelievably quiet and cozy. The deck has fabulous scenery and it is very inviting to sit outside and relax. Excellent hosts and an altogether enjoyable stay.
