Kelsa is an amazing host whose room is exactly as pictured. Her furry friends (two cats and a bunny) were an upside for me and made my stay that much better. I always felt like I had privacy and a little sanctuary in her home. The location was perfect for me, working at Kaiser Panorama City, and easy commuting distance via all major freeways 405, 5, etc. As a travel nurse, I appreciated having someone who could give me tips and tricks for navigating the valley. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying with Kelsa if you find yourself in LA.

Kelsa always made me feel welcome and comfortable in her home. She went out of her way to help me find parking every night of my stay in a neighborhood where parking is very difficult (insider tip: there is always parking about an 8 minute walk away on Willis Ave!). Her cats and bunny are adorable and very friendly, as well. The space was always clean and well-maintained. Altogether, I was very comfortable in Kelsa's place and she accommodated any needs of mine.

Kelsa was a very welcoming host and ensured all of my needs were met during my week stay in SoCal. The Room was very large and the bed was super comfortable. Kelsa's pets were fun to hang out with and friendly. I was out most of the day time, but parking was a bit of an inconvenience as you may need to find street parking. I had about 30% success rate finding one late at night, close by the apartment (had to park in vicinity of Lemona-Noble Ave most of the time). Read all signs of times when not to park. Walking back to the apartment late at night seemed a little sketchy at first, as there were quite a few people roaming around, but it seemed like a relatively safe neighborhood. Overall, had a great, relaxing time during my stay. There is a burrito joint nearby that's open till 3AM! :)

Response from Kelsa:
As with most everywhere in LA, especially in a residential neighborhood, the later it gets the harder it is to find parking as everyone's nestled in for the night....which is why parking is not included with the space, which is why it's only $30 a night. It's kinda like renting a place that doesn't come with towels then complaining that there are no towels. Or buying a cheaper concert ticket at the Hollywood bowl, the one that doesn't come with parking then complaining that you had to park a ways away. Eugene is right about the neighborhood, there is often people out and about and I do feel totally safe here.,

I had a wonderful time staying with Kelsa! It was great getting to know her and spend time at her place. I would definitely stay with her again. The room provided is as described and the photos are accurate. Only note is that the fridge is on the small side, just something to consider for long term guests.

Could've easily made more room in the fridge, all you had to do was say something.
