Beautiful two apartment house in the center of the climbing areas of Fontainebleau. 70km from Paris and 5 minutes away from A6, just next to a good country side road.
For climbers, hikers and mountain bikers the perfect location. You are literally just a few minutes drive away from most of the popular climbing areas.
The owners are well familiar with the climbing scene and the forest and you can easily get tips where to spend the days to make your visit to the forest the best vacation.
The space
The entire house is divided into 2 apartments, a small one and a big one. This rental is describing the bigger apartment.

The House "Luna" features a big open dining and living room space. The stairway room to the upper floor can work as a smaller secondary living room/play room. This 2nd living room also has a big storage closet for extra storage space.
The house is perfect for either a group of friends or even a family meeting with up to 10 people.
The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials and a bit more. There is a new induction hob, a modern fan oven, a microwave, a new modern dishwasher and a big fridge-freezer combo. A possibility to use an additional smaller fridge if really needed.
For coffee lovers we equipped the kitchen with a coffee machine that grinds your morning cup directly from beans (dark beans work the best), but you can also find a french press and a Bialetti.
You will find two fully equipped bathrooms and one smaller toilet at the entrance.
The entrance hall is half blackboard painted and can work to find an artistic side of you and your children.
Bedrooms:
The blue bedroom downstairs has a 180cm wide double bed and a few drawers and hangers for your luggage.
Upstairs the blue room has 2 single beds attached to each other(separetable) and has a dedicated working space for those needing to work as well. The room also has a spot for hangers and a cabinet for clothes.
The green room has two single beds attached together (can be separerated) a few drawers and hangers.
The purple room has one 180cm wide double bed and one 140cm wide small double bed. So the house can take 10 people in case of 2 sleeping in the 140cm wide bed. This could also work as a perfect family room with 2 kids and 2 adults. The rooms also features a dedicated working space.
All bookings include bed linen and towels.
Besides these, there are a couple of foldable cribs and a few baby chairs that are free of charge to use if requested.
The entire house is equipped with a fast wireless internet connection (fibre).
The guests of the house can also book the usage of a washing machine. This is free of charge and is a shared space and therefore needs to be booked slightly in advance.
The yard is big enough for some family games outdoors, but the yard is shared as a space. Directly in front of the house you have your "own" space with dining table and 10 chairs.
The property is fully fenced in, so it's a safe space for dogs and kids. The house is next to a country road which brings some road noise during the day, but it's very calm in the night. To enter the property you will receive a code for the motorized gate and there is parking space for 3 cars for the bigger apartment.
There are also 2 small dachshunds on the property, these are kind but for severe allergic people it's good to know. This also obviously means you can bring your own pet if you want, just let us know about this.
For climbers:
There is a possibility to arrange for training, warm up, mini-moonboarding or hang boarding etc., but this is in a private space and needs to be agreed with in advance. We also offer pad rentals (only high quality pads!) for those in need.
Guest access
The entire house "Luna" is in use. The cellar is private, but has a limited access to guests (usage of washing machine and a shared cabinet with games, left over stuff from other guests etc). The garden is in shared use but there is a dedicated space for the Luna house with a big table with 10 chairs.
Other things to note
The 2 apartment house has a few items that can be shared or booked separately. The apartments share one wall, so respecting the other apartment inhabitants and giving peace and quietness in the night is essential. Normal living noise is not carrying easily trough the walls.
There are 2 dogs more or less permanently around. They are kind and we can introduce Luna and Karma to guests who want to get to know them.
