Hi, I am sorry you don't feel like my place met your expectations. In fact, my place is very bright, you just have to open the shutters. However, in this period, Italy is extremely hot, and to keep the air conditioning optimal, I usually leave shutters down. I really find this comment left by you as very misleading in itself. Apparently you don't understand how shutters work in Italy. If you had opened them up you would have experienced your 'glowing.' There is a large wardrobe in your room that is left half empty for you to hang clothes, all you had to do was open the wardrobe. The bathroom is Italy tiny...its the way it is, and pictures are correct. As far as the kitchen...remember, I was gone for several days and it's not my responsibility to clean up after you. My kitchen WAS CLEANED before your arrival. Yes, I left one cup and a knife in the sink. I guess that makes me a sloppy host. I left to give you guys privacy and to enjoy my flat when I was gone. I think it is quite rude of you to complain about the kitchen. I wasn't using it, you were. Plenty of trash bags under the sink that you could have closed one up and used another. It's funny that you are leaving this review, though you didn't communicate with me about any of these issues...I would have been glad to let you know. In fact, the only email you sent me was asking where the sitting room was that was advertised in the listing....well, my flat has just three doors and you could have opened up the one adjacent to yours. I keep it closed to let the air conditioning work optimally. I also take acceptation for you feeling that your stay was an 'afterthought' of mine, nothing farther from the truth. In fact I accommodated your arrival many many hours before the allowed arrival time. I also kept up excellent communication with you.
Just for all of you (Website hidden by Airbnb) place is quite lovely and and nice location. And I am glad too have SUPER HOST status because most all people think it is ideal. I find the ones that have a problem are usually people that don't travel often to Italy and they don't realize Italy is not a place with ultramodern places to stay. If you look at what I charge per night, you have to realize my place is not the Ritz Carlton. I really take acceptation to some of the comments that this guest has left.
As far as location, it is ideal. The Old Town starts 15 minutes from my door, and you are the only guest in over 200 guests that thought it was little far. Walking is good exercise. I took time showing this guest a map of Padova and how everything worked. I really think this review is a slap in the face and I don't appreciate it.
