Kindly note: It's a self-managed property, not a resort, with payable add-ons for meals(limited options), and bonfires.
The space
9 km from Rishikesh, Perched on a ridge, the fairytale house is nestled in a mountain forest and made with locally sourced earthen materials.
Enter through the stone-arched door and get transported to your favorite fairytale.
You are welcome by 180-degree views of the beautiful emerald-green waters of the Ganges in the front, while the back reveals the entire valley.
As you enter the house, the sunlight scatters through the rustic reciprocal garden roof with the cherry-top skylight.
Driven by nature's creativity and organic forms, every delicate detail is hand-sculpted with love and tells a story. More than 90 people from over 18 countries put in their labor of love and healing energies in this project from Brazil to Japan.

the 18-inch thick mud walls keep you comfortable.
We provide extra fan in the summers.

Important Considerations Before Booking:
As luxurious and adventurous as Tiny Farm Fort is, staying in a fairytale home in the Himalayan forest comes with expected 'challenges.'
1) Location, Access, and Parking
The property is not accessible by car.
Guests must park their vehicles at the bottom of the hill at the ghat where all the camp guests park their vehicles and take a 1.5 km hike.
The base point from where the hike starts is
7 km (15 minutes) from Tapovan, Rishikesh
30 km (45 minutes) from Jolly Grant Airport
15 km (30 minutes) from Yog Nagari Rishikesh
2) HIKE
As you hike through the peaceful forest, along the Ganges, most of the trail is gentle and calming.
Most people rate it moderate.
However, the last 200 meters offer the right amount of challenge with a steep climb.
But don't worry, reaching the top will make it all worth it.
We suggest starting the trek later in the afternoon or evening to avoid the direct sun.
Please carry a cap/hat/umbrella and wear appropriate shoes.
We do not recommend it for senior citizens unless they think they are quite fit and do treks often.
3) Luggage
Please carry LIGHT BACKPACKS ONLY as you will have to walk/hike for 1.5 km (25-45 min.) to reach the property.
If you have extra luggage, you can leave it in your car or at the hotel, in case you are staying in Rishikesh before or after you visit us.
4) Wildlife
We coexist with nature and the forest is home to wild mammals from Elephants to barking deer.
Since we are in the jungle, don't be shocked if you see bugs, spiders, and insects.
We have a solar fence guarding the property that would be switched on at night.
5) Timings
The forest comes alive with wildlife after daylight. The forest boasts the presence of wild elephants.
For your safety, we kindly request all guests to ensure they arrive before nightfall.
Please plan to start your hike no later than 5:00 p.m.
6) Food
Breakfast is included in the stay.
Local Pahadi village vegetarian meals are available at Rs. 550/per meal/person. There is a fixed menu that can be shared upon confirmation.
If you have any special requests, please make sure you inform the staff 48 hrs in advance.
7) Weather
Please wear warm winter clothes.
It's getting colder as the winter progresses.
We provide duvets and extra blankets.
8) Water
The tap water is not potable (not for drinking). We will provide drinking water in an earthen pot.
9) Electricity
In the event of power cuts, we've had some truly enchanting experiences, including beautiful candlelit dinners.
We have an inverter backup.
However, as it's a village, we can have unplanned electricity cuts.
We've also got you covered with solar lamps, candles, and torches to light up your evenings.
10) Cellular Service
Our 18-inch thick walls block most signals. You can get the signal outside the house. Airtel works best.
10) Wifi
There's no wifi in the forest, but you'll get a stronger connection with yourself, your loved ones, and your passions.
We are sure you are important in making this world run and deserve a break to unwind. Nature allows you to reduce stress, rest, recharge, reconnect, and refocus.
11) Kitchen
The Kitchen has an array of complimentary items like tea, and black coffee, basic items required for cooking, like salt, sugar, spices, and an electric induction plate.
Pots, pans, and other utensils are at your disposal.
Since it is self-managed, guests are expected to keep the kitchen clean.
12) No Plastic
Please note that it's a remote property.
We request you to take back the plastic you bring along.
Upon booking, you'll agree to all these terms and conditions.
