We had 3 wonderful weeks in the house with our little dog. The view was amazing! Absolutely breathtaking! Very quiet area, which we enjoyed. Matteo was so easy to communicate with, and there was no problem when we arrived a bit late at the arrivalday. Zocca is a small autenthic Italian town without any tourists, and the people are very helpful. We also got help from the friendly neighbours when our car suddenly couldn't start. Overall we had a wonderful stay, and would love to come back again some day :-)

Our journey by Matteo's house was great the village of Zocca is really pleasant in summer with good local food and bars to spend good evenings. Also the landscape and place is very resting. Matteo is a really good host and gave us good advices about hiking. The house provides good maps of the area. We spent one week really great and could have stayed more ...just go for it :-)

This little retreat is a gem if you're looking for tranquility, views and some good restaurants serving local produce. This place might be off the beaten track, but do not underestimate its charm. We had booked only two nights, but seriously could have stayed the remainder of our Italian holiday here. Matteo and Caterina were so helpful, Caterina recommending a couple of Trattoria locally. One, La Fogna (don't judge it by the translation) served local meats and we tried a 'mixed grill' with various cuts, sausage and ribs and the same price as at home, but, my daugter reminded us, without all the faff of eggs, salads, onion rings etc. This was simply a mixed grill and delicious it was. The other place was La Vecchia Scuola, about 15 minutes away, where we had a blue-cheese starter, rolled in poppy seeds and served with a kind of sweet marmalade followed by pizza with truffle shavings and the hotest Diavolissima I've tasted in Italy. We so want to come back to this lovely home.

This house is located in countryside away from Bologna about 1 hour. From the top of mountain,  you can view  splendid landscape. 1 queen bed, 1 sofa bed, 1 folding bed and various dishwares are  supplied. There is several small markets within 5 minutes. There is no problem to cook your dishes. Additionally you can feel heartwarming kindness and favor of host,Matteo and neighbors. If you don’t mind a distance from Bologna, I will recommend.

Beautiful cottage in the middle of the mountains. The scenery is spectacular and very peaceful. The location was convenient (by car) to the nearby town and national parks. Matteo was very accommodating seeing to our needs with our baby and receiving us warmly despite arriving late. Thank you Matteo! :)

Matteo's place is as lovely as him and his wife that received us at the house so nicely and carefully. We've enjoyed it from top to bottom, clean, spacious, organized and cute. The neighborhood is nice and the access is very convenient if you go by car. The wifi didn't work pretty well inside de house but it was totally ok for us. We loved our stay!
