Come and feel the green. Casa Uh May is a tastefully designed modern hideaway in the jungle, a 25 minute car ride from Tulum, Coba, and the Caribbean Sea. Wake up to the songs of colorful tropical birds and fall asleep to the sounds of crickets.

The space
Reconnect with nature and with yourself. In the Yucatecan jungle, at the rim of a small Mayan village, half way between Tulum and the archaeological site of Coba, you find simple elegance in Casa Uh May. Our guest house, a single private “casita", is an unexpected gem in one hectare of private jungle. Remote, tranquil, designed to make you feel comfortable and to enjoy its unique surroundings.

After a day on the beach, in Tulum, at the Coba or Tulum ruins, you'll be very happy to come back to our green oasis where you can cool off in the 15 m pool. Meditate on your own private terrace, absorb the noises of the jungle and contemplate the star filled night sky between palm trees.

Casa Uh May is a place for those looking for tranquility and nature, it's a place where the outward calm will quickly invest your inner state. It's the perfect starting point for exploring the Tulum/Coba area without the noise and bustle of Tulum town.

Wake up to the sun rays shining through the trees and start your Caribbean day with a good coffee, fresh juice and a breakfast with delicious German bread, home made muesli and marmelade.

Where you’ll be

Francisco Uh May, Quintana Roo, Mexico

Casa Uh May is a 3 min walk from Fransisco Uh May, a small Mayan village 23 km west of Tulum. It is located in the center of a one hectare private property, there are no visible neighbors. You can walk in the jungle, explore the village and its handicraft shops and interact with the local people. The villagers know us very well and are always welcoming and helpful.
From Casa Uh May you can visit cenotes, lagoons, natural parks, Mayan ruins and some of the world's most beautiful beaches - all within a 30 min drive. In less than an hour you are in historical Valladolid, a lovely colourful colonial town with its cathedral, a local market where traditional Mayan clothing is worn. Chichen Itza, the most famous Mayan ruin, is a 90 minute drive away.
