Awesome house with everything you need. Beautiful quiet area with enough amenities nearby that you are not completely isolated. Picturesque hikes right up the street. Beautiful in the fall, but would also be a perfect spot in the any other season, with ski resorts near by! Dog friendly is the icing on the cake!

We had a great stay in this cabin - the bedrooms are small but cozy and the sound of the small river outside is very peaceful! We made good use of the adequately equipped kitchen area and the fire pit as well. Meg gave us many baby-friendly hiking trip suggestions as it was our first time traveling with the baby and her tips were very useful! Also fun is the annual fall festival in nearby Warner, NH! The one downside when staying with other couples in this cabin is that the walls are pretty thin and sounds transfer easily - not so fun for our cabinmates when baby would wake up in the middle of the night. Otherwise we had a great stay!

Nice place for a quick weekend getaway from Boston. Residential New Hampshire town. Clean and orderly place. One of the bedrooms on second level and reachable with ladder. Great communication from Meg.

We had a great time staying in this cabin! My husband and I went up for a quick weekend getaway from the hectic Boston area and were hoping for something quiet and remote. The cabin is on a street with other houses, but it was so quiet. Despite its convenient proximity to a major highway, there was zero highway noise. It was really dark at night, and the perfect retreat. There's a small creek next to the house, which provides nice white noise. We loved that it was dog-friendly and also near a dog-friendly hike (Mt. Kearsarge), which we hiked! Meg was so quick to respond to my inquiries every time I wrote, and everything from check-in to check-out was easy and straightforward. The place was charming and as-advertised.

This little get away is so perfect. It quiet and serene. We had and awesome time sitting around on the deck having drinks listening to the babbling brook.

This was absolutely the favorite spot I've stayed through AB&B over the years. Quimby Cabin is cozy, charming and feels peaceful and secluded. The setting is unbeatable with the river so nearby, and the fact that the decor is just-right and not overdone makes it feel all the more relaxing (I get overwhelmed by knicknacks in some vacation rentals, not the case at all here). I'm thankful that Meg & crew have done such a good job caring for this place and letting it shine in its own unique coziness. We hope to return for longer!

Small but well appointed with slick interior design. Babbling Brook is great! Well stocked kitchen for making all of our meals.
