Find our Secret Garden Guesthouse nestled in the heart of old East Nashville. This two-floor, private space is the perfect hideaway in the center of historic Lockeland Springs, just steps from Five Points and its restaurants, bars, shops and charm.
Our newly-built, two-floor guesthouse is tucked away in the garden behind our 1920s craftsman home. When you walk in you're greeted by sitting area, breakfast table (where you could also work) and full kitchenette with mini fridge, range, oven, microwave, toaster and French Press coffee maker. The sectional couch in the sitting area converts into a queen-size bed. The two large windows (with privacy curtains) let in tons of morning light. Upstairs is a queen bed with a full-tiled shower with great water pressure, and a closet for hanging clothes. Two skylights let in beautiful natural light in the late-morning and afternoon. The patio area off the guesthouse at the back of the yard is yours to enjoy as well. We don't have a TV, but you won't need it. Our cozy guesthouse is a great spot to relax and regroup without that distraction. Plus, there's so much to do in Nashville! If you bring a laptop or tablet with you, and you do feel like you need something to wind down to, we have great WiFi so you can always stream something.
Accessible from the alley with, lighted, private parking space. Enter through our 8' privacy fence and find your secret garden hideaway.
DIRECTIONS IF YOU ARE DRIVING
To access the guesthouse, navigate to our main house, 1512 Holly St., then head up to 16th street and make a right. Make a right down the alley and we're the fifth house on the right. The house is slate gray/blue with a gray roof and white trim. There's a parking pad out back; you can park there. Enter in through the back gate (there's a metal turquoise flower on it), follow the path, and enter in the first door you encounter (the second is our private garage).
IF YOU ARE TAKING UBER/LYFT
First, both are easily accessible from the Nashville airport. Navigate to 1512 Holly St. in East Nashville. You're welcome to head to the Guesthouse through our yard so you don't have to go through the alley. When you're facing the house, the gate to the backyard is on the left. Head back there and enter in the first door you encounter (the second is our private garage).
Interaction with guests
We live in the main house on the property so are often around. We enjoy getting to know our guests, but we'll respect your privacy until you suggest otherwise. Feel free to ask us for suggestions on places to check out.
Other things to note
We have chickens! The coop is off the garage-side of the yard and houses our lil' ladies. They are very cute creatures - feel free to watch our ladies but leave them and their eggs in our coop, please.
Please enjoy yourself, and please keep these simple guidelines in mind during your stay:
-No smoking inside. (You can use the guesthouse patio area for this.)
-Please keep outside noise down after 10pm for our neighbors' sake.
-Only paying guests permitted on the premises unless approved in advance.
-You may watch the chickens but please don't handle them or open the coop.
-For makeup removal, please use the makeup wipes provided. Your eye makeup looks great at the honky tonks, but not on our fresh white towels!
