Casa Piedra is a new adobe casita located in the heart of the Terlingua ghost town. It boasts a king size bed, large bathroom, mini fridge and a coffee/tea station. There are high-quality linens and towels, private parking and a bonus private outdoor shower.

The space

The bedroom door has a keypad - you will receive the code when you book. Note the property is funky - so, if you like to stay somewhere different/eclectic/unique, then Casa Piedras is for you. There is a coffee/tea station with french press, hot water kettle and mini fridge. The bedroom and bathroom are attached and have air conditioning and heater. Yes, we are on the grid! Casa de Piedras has a bonus outdoor shower (private). You have your own private driveway to the house. Please note you are in a rural ghostown. Many of the roads area gravel with no street lights. The property is located within minutes (walking) to every restaurant and bar in the ghostown. You have an awesome view of the Chisos Mountains.

Guest access

You will have access to the bedroom, bathroom, an additional bonus outdoor shower and patio.

We had an amazing stay and highly recommend this space to anyone! The local restaurants were great! Big Bend was close! The outdoor shower was fabulous and we had a wonderful time roasting smores in the fire pit! We will return and do so soon!!!

Casa Piedras is a perfect little casita in Terlingua. The room was perfect size for us as a couple with a huge king size bed that was super comfortable. The AC kept the room perfect at 68 degrees in the mid August heat. The decor and ceiling of the room was amazing. They definitely did a great job a used wood/metal from around the area. The fire pit and chairs outside made a perfect night to just relax and enjoy the stars above. You wont find a place in Texas with views of the Milky Way like in Terlingua. The outdoor shower and inside shower with a large overhead rain faucet made it extra special. The soap and body wash smelled so good I need to order some. Checking in/out was a breeze, they email you instructions for the door keypad. Walking distance from the Starlight and local restaurants. Highly Recommend!

Casa Piedra is a new favorite of ours and we were incredibly comfortable during our stay. We had a snafu being locked out of Casa Piedra but Teren responded quickly and discovered it was a simple fix.

Enjoyed our stay in Terlinga and Casa Piedra. Comfortable room (small but all we needed). Liked the outdoor shower, but there is one inside if needed. Also liked sitting outside in eve with a drink enjoying the stars or morning reading a book. Terlinga was pretty dead (guess that is how a ghost town is) due to us visiting during off season. Restaurants were pretty rough looking but food was good. Also liked that Terlinga was close to Big Bend - which was one of our favorite National parks.
