The cabin was perfect and privately set at the bottom of a lovely garden. It had everything I needed and the host family were very friendly. They even left me breakfast and a bottle of wine!

This is a lovely small chalet with a pretty deck looking onto the garden. It is right at the bottom of the garden so you have lots of privacy. The bed is comfortable, the hob really quick, the whole place is very charming and a real pleasure to stay in. It is a very different experience to staying in a standardized hotel and that is exactly what I loved. The host was very relaxed and kind and left a lovely breakfast in the fridge. The area is very pretty with tall spruce trees. A really good place, I was really happy and couldn't fault it.

We are the first couple to stay in Kevin and Ruth's, lovely wooden chalet, located at the bottom of their large garden in a stunning area. Great walks right at the entrance to their property. Lovely village a few minutes drive from the house which has all the facilities you could require, pub restaurants, chip shop, small Tesco etc. The log cabin is cosy and had all the facilities that we required, great breakfast choices were provided. Both heating and air-conditioning if required, double bedroom, small lounge/diner, small kitchen and bathroom. Kevin and Ruth went out of their way to ensure we had everything we wanted and needed. A great nights stay. Kevin has only just started letting out the chalet and only point to mention, is you will require a torch, which we had, as you will need this between your car and chalet, however i feel Kevin with probably add some form of lighting in the future. Thanks again to you both.

Response from Kevin:
Thank you for such a great review Julian. We couldn't have hoped for a better first couple to try out our cabin and really pleased you found the time to enjoy some of the local area. We will certainly provide a torch straight away and will explore lighting options down the path to the cabin. Great to meet you both.
