Interaction with guests
We will accomodate your desired level of privacy. We are also more than happy to give you a tour of the main home and share its history. We've received the results of the dendrochronological study - our home was built in 1847! We will be happy to show you the primitive structure and logs holding up the house in the cellar (some still with bark on them!). The sandstone used to build the cellar are much like the stones supporting Rock Mill.
Other things to note
We have two outdoor friendly cats.
Although we state that the cottage will accommodate only 2 adults, we also have a new queen sized air mattress so 2 additional adults may stay.
Number 1: Enjoy the cottage, gazebo and have breakfast in or outside on the side patio to our home or in the gazebo.
No smoking on the premises
We recycle - for your convenience, recycling bins are available right outside the cottage entrance.
We do not charge a cleaning fee so please wash your dishes before leaving and put towels in the hamper. Doing so will help us keep the rates reasonable. No need to make the bed, we will change.
