Interaction with guests

We will accomodate your desired level of privacy. We are also more than happy to give you a tour of the main home and share its history. We've received the results of the dendrochronological study - our home was built in 1847! We will be happy to show you the primitive structure and logs holding up the house in the cellar (some still with bark on them!). The sandstone used to build the cellar are much like the stones supporting Rock Mill.

Other things to note

We have two outdoor friendly cats.

Although we state that the cottage will accommodate only 2 adults, we also have a new queen sized air mattress so 2 additional adults may stay.

If you have never tried a bed and breakfast, this is the place to go. This was our first experience using Airbnb and staying at a bed and breakfast and it was wonderful. Has all the comforts of home, absolutely wonderful hosts, so many special touches. The breakfast, pumpkin roll and hot chocolate was over the top. Went out of their way to make sure we had everything we would need. Let's just say we were spoiled and it was hard to leave! We plan on returning someday.

Jonna went above and beyond to accommodate us. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious with ginormous portions. They recommended excellent local places and their hospitality was like no other. We were only able to stay one night but would definitely return again. We appreciated the special touches they made to make us feel welcomed. This stay was a highlight of our trip. The property here is also beautiful with the convenience of Rock Mill across the street. The communication was also great! Spectacular hosts; cozy cottage-I’d highly recommend this place to anyone!

John and Jonna are always the perfect hosts. Their cottage is too cute for words. All the little touches do not go unnoticed. This is our second visit and will certainly not be our last. The cottage is perfectly decorated and and conveniently located. This last visit we were able to visit many antique shops between Columbus to Logan. Jonna's country living expired me to pick up a few cute things to put in my house to make it more homey. I could live down in that area forever and be perfectly happy to be away from the hustle and bustle of city life. You will not be sorry or disappointed if you stay with John and Jonna.....the perfect of perfect hosts.....go enjoy their lovely cottage, you will not regret it. Roger and Rita Fafrak
