Additionally, the ability to ski right back to the same spot at the end of the day adds a level of convenience that avid winter sports enthusiasts will surely appreciate. There are racks to lock bikes to in the secure parking garage and a work bench with a bike stand for guest use. With such easy access to the lifts, guests can make the most of their time at Fernie Alpine Resort without any unnecessary logistics getting in the way.
The top-floor setting with vaulted ceilings provides a spacious and inviting environment. The inclusion of an elevator ensures easy access, even with ski gear, boots on, or a cart full of stuff when you arrive. When we are there, we like to cook, so the fully equipped kitchen is set up with quality pots, pans, and knives. Enjoy 3 coffee maker options: drip, coffee press, and espresso. Perfect for culinary enthusiasts seeking a home-away-from-home experience.
We also provide "Community basics" such as salt/pepper, sugar, coffee, cooking oil, plastic wrap, aluminum foil and a collection of plastic containers to put leftovers away.

The Balcony overlooks the Plaza at Fernie Alpine resort and with chairs to enjoy the afternoon sun, people watching or an elevated view of the events happening in the Plaza.
Included building amenities is a Hot Tub room with a shower and toilet, which conveniently is right next door, so if you need an extra bathroom, it is not far. One floor down is a gym for guest use. There is underground parking for one car or one space outside, additional parking is about 100 meters away in Lot 2. The underground clearance is 8'-0", tall enough for full size pickups to fit in. There is a locker room for guest skis/boards. Strata rules require ski/board/bikes gear is not allowed upstairs or in the units.
There is a bike rack in the underground garage that provides a secure spot for guests to lock up their bikes, offering peace of mind for those who are there to ride the trails and lifts at Fernie Alpine Resort.
There are security cameras throughout the complex in public spaces. Strata rules prevent guests from bringing pets as it is a very difficult place to walk a dog, The ski hill doesn't want brown or yellow spots on its nice white snow.
If you Bring a pet the cleaning fee starts at $200.
The comfy King bed is the sole sleeping option, the couch is not a pull out. We don't allow guests to sleep on the couch as it doesn't fit in the washer. So, a couple or a single person is our max. If you show up with extra guest it is $100/night/person and or your reservation will be cancelled. Infants, toddlers, small family are of course welcome.
Guest access
There is a key locker in the entrance for gusts to pick up key FOBS and parking pass for guests to self check in. There is an elevator so easy to access with gear or with ski boots on. We live in Fernie so for the most part we are available to help out if you have any issues getting in.
Other things to note
If you have a full Epic pass you can ski Fernie for 7 days.
The Cornerstone Lodge is centrally located on the plaza so there is potential for noise from early morning snowcats, ,snow shoveling, people in the plaza or events. The Griz Bar is right outside on the plaza but seems to shut down pretty early.
