Ray's Cabin is a beautiful place. My family and I love it and enjoy the staying. The surrounding environment is quiet and beautiful. All the animals in the farm, especially the two lovely furry friends, B and M, make us feel like home. Ray is a friendly host and give us full privacy. Thank you Ray.

A perfect little bolthole for a sunny weekend. Charming little dogs kept us company. Well laid out and nicely decorated, we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for 2 nights, found the cabin quiet easily off the main road. Didn't have any problems getting through the gates, one of us had to distract the friendly dog while the gate was open. The cabin was very clean and homely. Everything you needed in the kitchen was there. The road is a little noisy at night but if you pack your earplugs like I always do then your be fine! We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else :)

Beautiful, comfy and nicely decorated little cabin in a lovely part of the world. Great base to explore the surrounding sights, and the lovely little dogs give you the best welcome! Communication with the host was also easy, friendly and speedy.

What an awesome, relaxing retreat after the stressful pace of London. Reconnecting with nature and the wonderful animals on the farm was a rural tonic. The friendly dogs welcomed us on arrival and came every day, along with the cat, to say hello. Find the lake and have a cup of tea or coffee relaxing on the island, taking in the beauty of the land. My daughter really enjoyed the swing and riding the pink cow!

We visited for 2 nights in August. It was a clean, private, charming cabin in the middle of nowhere! The host was really accomodating, quick to respond to messages and helpful. All ready planning our next visit!

This cabin turned out to be exactly what we wanted and are so glad that it actually exceeded our expectations. The location is away from all the hustles and bustles of town life, so feels very country but its also jist 10-15 mins drive from the Pantiles, Ashdown Forest, Penshurst place as well as Royal Tunbridge wells. There is a pond in front of the cabin, beyond which you have access to a huge field, where you might bump into a friendly old sheep, and a shy Alpaca. There is a swing and a trampoline you can use too. Inside the cabin istelf the place has a very rustic / olden times feel to it, with a well stocked kitchen (condiments, pots pans cutlery and crockery, microwave, oven kettle and toaster). It is open plan with a dining area and living area too. The bedroom is small but cosy is the more appropriate word in the context of this being a cabin. The shower room is lovely with a rainfall style shower. Someone moaned earlier it gets a bit damp in here, it would do since its a cabin and there are no windows - we let the room air out where possible and used the ventilation inside to draw out moisture. There are a couple of dogs and cats who are very friendly that will visit - if you don't like them you could ask Ray to keep them away. I would recommend guests bring a fan if they get hot at nights and dont like opening windows (due to insects) as it can get a bit warm during the summer. As its a cabin some people might find issues with comfort but this is unfair - it is a cabin so you have to set your expectations realistically! Too much pampering to all guests requirements will end up reducing the actual charm of this place! We loved this cabin and feel it was a lovely getaway for us with our two little boys, wonderful memories of our time will surely be treasured by us all for many years to come. Thanks Ray and Claire!
